LOCATION: It was clean, close to the main attractions of the city and easy to be picked up by tour operators. STAFF: there are no words to describe how accommodating and kind everyone was, whatever we needed and what we didn’t know we needed. Above my expectations, thank you so much. CLEANLINESS: even though the bathroom is shared, it was pristine each time. Well equipped ROOM: AC worked perfectly, the room has enough light, spacious and has literally everything.

This is a lovely place to stay situated in the heart of the old quarter, on a tranquil side street. The owner is extremely hospitable and offers plenty of information on where to dine out, how to find ATMs without interest fees, and even assists with booking affordable transportation to the airport, among other things. I highly recommend staying here!

- very friendly and welcoming guesthouse manager - very convenient location in the centre, a short walk from most of the city’s landmarks - excellent local restaurant recommendations from guest house manager. He recommended a vegan restaurant nearby and it served the best vegan food we’ve ever eaten anywhere! - super clean and very large spacious room - cool view of local neighbourhood from fourth floor where we stayed - shared bathroom was cleaned throughout the day so it was always very clean and tidy - extremely helpful manager and housekeeper. They very kindly offered to help carry our bags up and down the flights of stairs. - there is no kettle in the room but you can use the kettle in the kitchen downstairs if needed - a real taste of local life in the nearby lively streets

The hosts truly couldn't have been more kind and welcoming. They really went out their way to ensure we had a brilliant stay and were so considerate - they are such lovely people! The rooms are incredibly clean and comfortable, with such thoughtful amenities. The bathrooms are also really clean, with hot showers, and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are offered. The homestay is in a great location in the Old Quarter. We also had laundry done here for a bargain price, and it came back smelling delightful! This was our best accommodation experience in Vietnam - thank you so much!😁

Comfortable room in a quiet location in Hanoi's Old Quarter. The host was very friendly and responsive and was available to help me check in after arriving at 4a from a night bus. Bathrooms are kept very clean as well. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay while visiting Hanoi.

The homestay was amazing. Khai and his family was willing to help us with anything we needed and they were doing so always with a big smile on their faces. The room was absolutely sufficient and clean. It was close to all the city highlights and we also got some good tips for quality restaurants. Finally, Khai also willingly sent our postcards (and paid a few extra dongs because we inadvertently used less stamps) as we didn't have time to get them to the post office before we left Hanoi. I would definitely stay here again and I could recommend to everyone to do so.

Doors are not easily closed. There was times when doors were slammed on other floors and I woke up several times.

Excellent service and cleanliness. Housekeeper cleans after each shower to keep the toilet/bathroom dry. Essentials are provided - adapter, toiletries, water… sufficient number of hangers. Extremely spacious rooms. Blackout curtains is a plus. Good for backpackers. There were fans and air-conditioner.

Even though the neighbourhood is quiet, pack some earplugs as you can sometimes hear trains passing or meowing cats on the balconies. Towel and blanket provided but weirdly no bed sheet, unless they consider the bed mattress protection as a bed sheet and clean it (it looked and smelled clean).

Really nice homestay kept by a friendly family. The husband speaks English. No elevator but they help you with carrying your bags upstairs. Just next to the old quarter but in a quiet side street. Clean bedrooms with air-conditioning and uv lamp for mosquitos. The shared bathrooms are cleaned after someone showers so it's always clean and dry. There is one bathroom for each 2 rooms, so you don't really have to wait to be able to use one

Great place! I stayed in queen room and it was nice, spacious and comfy. You have everything that you need. The shared toilet is very clean. And host is amazing, he made me great coffee, provided all the information and even gave me a lift by his scooter. I will come back for sure, thanks a lot Hoanh :)

The room was really clean and comfortable, plenty of sockets to charge your stuff. The bathroom is shared with one more room but always found it spotless. The people who run the homestay are really welcoming and will give you plenty tips to explore the city. Because it's tucked away in an alley it's quiet during the night. The pictures match the rooms irl. Good value for money in my opinion. The accommodation offer in Hanoi can be overwhelming but this place will not disappoint.
