The rooms were nicely set up for what you pay. It was worth the money.

Overall, the hotel appeared somewhat rundown, with issues such as a lack of water in our room's shower and occasional toilet water shortages. The rooms didn't match the appealing images online, and there were loose electric cables hanging from the ceiling into the bathroom. Additionally, noise disturbances at night were common, and the promised 20-minute massage turned out to be the use of an outdated and worn massage chair. Further, despite my requests during my booking and in multiple follow-up messages, the hotel initially placed our kids' room on level 6, far from our room on level 1. Fortunately, the accommodating staff eventually assisted us in securing two side-by-side rooms.

I liked the location. The hotel appeared to be clean. The staff was very friendly and supportive.

There was a bad smell in our room when we arrived, which was apparently due to the air conditioning unit not being used for a while, we asked to move rooms but it wasn't possible. Once it had run through for a while with the door open the smell did lessen, but there was a faint whiff of it now and again through the night. We had an early check out and were only there for about 8 hours but if someone was staying for a while it would definitely be an issue. Hoping it is something that was sorted after we left as other than that the room was perfectly fine.

The lady at reception in the morning was brilliant, managed to book us on a trip same day and even rushed to make us breakfast before we left. Our room was lovely with well chosen furniture and an excellent dressing table etc. I do feel there are just little bits that need fixing to keep it from looking tired. At the end of it all though it is definitely worth what we paid and the staff (particularly the lady on reception) are fab.

The main problem I have is that my room has a giant gap that looks like a vent shaft that is open to all the rooms that are above or below me. I can hear all the noise that are made in those rooms. So you can say no soundproofing. Also got woken up at 9am by housekeeping asking if I need room cleaned. I was still sleeping at the time. Maybe it was because it was Sunday. Would be helpful to have do not disturb or clean room door hangs.

Reception staff were very helpful. They assisted in getting tours booked for me. Can't fault them at all.

Glass walls around the toilet area as well as a cavity. This meant that you could hear everything from all the other rooms because there is a cavity that runs from the bottom to the top of the hotel. Can also see into other rooms. Very strange!

Room had no window. Frosted glass on the room floor which meant if guests below or above us had lights on it disturbed us during the night. Also meant that it was very noisy at times in the room. Hotel advertises breakfast and was a factor in us booking with them as we had a very early start one morning. However when we went down was disappointed to find no breakfast was on offer.

Bed was comfortable, room had great wifi connection. Staff were friendly, had washing done at the hotel and was done in a few hours.

1. The photos advertised in this app is probably when the hotel was just opened. The rooms and entrance are no longer the way that it is advertised. Bathrooms smell bad, the rooms smell moldy and old. 2. The staff are very unprofessional in their appearance, and the way they provide their customer service. I noticed that some staff were eating the same time in the same area for breakfast and they were chit chatting very loud. Also, the breakfast served is like bread, tomatoes, Eggs, rice and cucumbers but I was afraid of eating them since the first time my friend and I tried it, it tasted weird and gave the aspect of being unsanitary and unsafe to consume. 3. Beware of the way they charge, when I booked the booking.com app could only book once payment was confirmed. However, on the 3rd night (last night) the receptionist asked us to pay. I was confused at first, I thought they wanted to charge me double and scam me. Turns out that they never charged the card for the booking. My friend and I were ready to change hotel since day 1 but because we were made believe that payment had been charged already, we felt that we had no other option but stay there. I felt this was a strategy to ensure that customers don’t leave (this is my personal belief). 4. Last observation was that upon checking out, the receptionist would ask several customers if you would want to tip the “service” provided by staff. It felt like they were cornered and could not decline. I was not asked to tip since they made a mistake in providing a room totally different than the one initially booked. I hope this helps anyone coming to Hanoi and especially to this hotel.

The location allowed access to places like Pho10 which is a famous food chain. Also, it’s in the center of stores, restaurants and clubs.

Shower soup given in a tiny packages barely enough to use it for shower. Main entrance door lock after mid night, I needs to make a phone call ask the staff to open the door to let me it. What would happen if there's a fire inside the building if the main entrance door lock?

It was nothing like the pictures. The rooms looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned, there was an awful lingering smell in the room, the breakfast had minimal selection of food. The bathtub and shower had water residue and what looked to be the onset of rusting. Under the bath tub, not worth even thinking about or looking, it was disgusting. Definitely requires more thorough cleaning, at least once a year by the looks of things!

It was pretty central to everything you need to see in Hanoi.

We rented a family room for 3, bathroom and shower had clear windows directly to the room, no privacy at all. Staff was terrible, hot water was not working, we went 2 times to the lobby requesting for help and just after we were mad and said we were going to leave, until that moment they decided to fix it. Lack of cleaning, in sheets, bathroom... Wifi never worked Is expensive for what you are getting for, you can get better places for the same price or less!!

Pictures were very misleading on the website. Looked like a beautiful hotel from pictures but the interior looked very different in person. Reception staff were very unfriendly. Barely welcomed us. The lift was broke and we had to walk up 6 floors. When we arrived to our room 3 men in the next room opened their door and kept the door open at all times. We felt very uncomfortable. Breakfast was food that was left out all morning. Very poor. We were booked in for 2 nights we left after one. The man at reception didn’t even ask why we were leaving early. Took payment and we left.

Location was great. Very close to everything. Walking distance to all the tourist attractions.

Full of fancy good shops. Non availability of shops to purchase food items. Very poor support for english other than vietnamese.

Hotel facilities. Access to many tour sites. Comparatively economical , efficient taxi service. Very cheap public transport. Public discipline.
