Nice beach in 5-10min walk. Nearby restaurants are decent too. Fresh towels everyday. Welcome fruit was a nice touch. WiFi no password all around.

The resort is far away from the main extractions of a new modern Phu Quoc. It's located in a wooded area, near a beach. That gives its customers a sense of relaxation and contentment with nature. If one likes to visit both the North and South end of the hotel for entertainment, the cost of transportation is the same as one must cover the same distance. (NOTE: for people traveling as a family with children who love a festival atmosphere, it might be best to book hotels within the Vincom entertainment centers) We love the breakfasts. There are many dishes to choose from. One can start breakfast at 9:00 am and skip lunch without feeling hungry! (Maybe we are seniors and don't eat much!) The swimming pool is well maintained. If one prefers dipping in the sea, the beach is only 250m away with crystal clear water. The staff is very attentive to the needs of the customers. They speak English well enough to satisfy your needs.

We had a lovely stay in this resort. The room was very clean and with a good and silent A/C. We enjoyed the pool every morning, always clean and with enough space. The staff is super friendly, on the last day we had an early pick up to the airport and they prepared us some really good breakfast to take on the plane. Just to add, they offer free pick up and drop to the airport. Really recommend this place.

The rooms are comfortable, all staff were very friendly and accommodating. The free pick-up from the airport was smooth and much appreciated. Great service and facilities all around. We loved the pool and the beautiful gardens. A very peaceful place to stay and a good base to explore the surroundings. Yummy breakfast too!

The Kingo Retreat is fabulous, believe the hype! 😊 from the moment we were collected from the ferry to the moment we were dropped off at the airport (both free of charge), the Kingo exceeded expectations. We had a poolside bungalow which was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, with fantastic air con and a super comfortable bed. The pool is a good size with lots of sun loungers and the breakfast was the best we had in over three months in Asia. The best thing about the Kingo, however, is the staff - they go above and beyond every single day and always with a smile 😊 and when considering the price, there really is no other option in Phu Quoc.

Very polite staff, real nice place for retreat / relax. Breakfast reach, wide choise of fruits, juices, other. Beds and extra bed comfortable, pillows very good. Hotel territory green with many plants, flouers. Pool - large good, there is possible arrange SPA massages, which is little bit more expensive then outside, but much better. Outside hotel You can get nonproffesional massages in 50 %. Used GYM, small but well equiped. Hotel restaurant serve delishes food, recommend. There is car to bring you free of charge to nearest beach.

Nothing! Yes, the property 12 away from the city and bars, but I think it’s an advantage, since we got to enjoy calmness of the area, the nature and almost empty beach.

Not to any fault of the hotel at all but there is new construction happening close to the beach so there is not great access to the beach. They did a great job of having a shuttle to take you to the beach but would have been amazing if you could still walk or bike there

The hotel is really beautiful! Safe were very friendly. The rooms were gorgeous, pool area was really really nice. Location was good. Food was great. We loved the breakfast buffet. We were able to rent scooters easily from the front desk. Having free transport from the airport was a really nice touch

You will need a scooter. I rented one at the reception and the scooters are not Kingo’s property, they rent it from an external company. My advice would be to find a rental shop yourself because the scooters they use aren’t of good quality.

I booked for ten nights and at first I was a bit unsure if it would be too long but I could have stayed another ten!! The pool is sooo nice, the staff super sweet and friendly and the breakfast was good. The beds are comfortable, the rooms super clean. I LOVED my stay and will definitely be back. THANK YOU KINGO

A true gem of Phu Quoc, a little serene paradise. Beautiful clean pool, lovely views, all set in a stunning green garden. Spacious rooms. Nice breakfast with a lot of options. Amazing value for money. We have been travelling Vietnam for months and it was one of the few places that looks exactly like photos, perhaps even better. Very clean, so if you a cleanliness freak like me- Kingo won’t disappoint you. But the real highlights was the lovely staff who will go an extra mile to make your stay unforgettable. Big shout especially to NOK and BAO ( hopefully I got the names right). They were amazing! We got a free room upgrade and free taxi to the airport. Highly recommend to everyone!

- The wifi was poor (or too slow, or not working at all). I had to work and had to connect my computer to my sim card (Mobifone). Luckily it worked very well, the network signal was very good. - Unfortunately we couldn't eat at the restaurant because the prices are at least as expensive as in Europe and far over our budget. We walked or used the bikes to go to the neareast restaurants (700m / 5 minutes). (In the evening, make sure you take your phone to light the way, because it is very dark.) - Unfortunately, no direct beach access because there is a construction site and they don't allow you to pass. It is a pity because it would be only 2 minutes walk. The resort offer a navette service to drive you to another beach 2 or 3 km. south. To come back, you have to ask the beach bar to ring the resort. You can also take the bikes to cycle to another beach 2km north. - It would be best to give one single pool towel to every guest! At least they would have to keep it! Unfortunately, you can take as many towels as you want at the pool. As a result, some guests take several towels and they block several chairs at the pool! Sometimes, we had to remove towels left on chairs to place ours. This could lead to conflicts if the guests come back... Giving one single beach towel would solve this problem! - Our neighbours left the TV on the whole day, even when they were not in the room. And in the evening until past midnight. This really spoiled our stay. I suggest to remove all TV as it is a nuisance for the neighbours. Overall, it was a very nice stay, despite noisy neighbours and inconsiderate guests at the pool.

Everything! This was the best thing we could’ve hoped for during our NYE holiday on the island. Everything, to the very last detail, was amazing. airport pickup, really nice rooms, complimentary fruits, good breakfast and permanent restaurant, motorbike rental, free transport to the beach, great seimming pool, absolutely lovely and very very helpful staff, free water on the premises, smart TV (with netfix) and I could go on. And a very good price overall.
