I had the pleasure of staying at Kon-tiki Hostel in Da Nang on 12th May (Sunday), and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The best part of this hostel is undoubtedly its fantastic location. Situated very close to the iconic Dragon Bridge, it was the perfect spot for my one-day visit to Da Nang. My primary purpose was to watch the Fire Show on the Dragon Bridge and visit DHC Marina Point, and Kon-tiki Hostel made this incredibly convenient. Both attractions were just a short walk away, allowing me to fully enjoy my evening without any hassle. In addition to the prime location, the staff at Kon-tiki Hostel truly made my stay memorable. They were extremely humble, supportive, and cooperative, always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Their warm and friendly demeanor created a welcoming atmosphere, making me feel right at home. The hostel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. I particularly appreciated the communal areas where I could relax and meet fellow travelers. Overall, my experience at Kon-tiki Hostel was wonderful. The combination of its prime location near the Dragon Bridge and the exceptional hospitality of the staff made it the perfect choice for my visit to Da Nang. I initially booked this hostel for a few days but then I kept extending my stay. Lovely staff, facilities in a good shape. Great price too considering the location! Breakfast is basic but still tasty (and free!). WiFi was good and there's also access to the rooftop. I'll be back if I get a chance! :)

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is not bad. The rooms were a little dusty but acceptable. Showers worked well, as did the AC. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

They were very accommodating to my mom, who wasn’t staying the night, and myself, who was, by letting us store our stuff until check-in and use the showers! The staff is so friendly and kind! The space was really nice and the beds were comfortable- each had their own fan!

Used a private room with a private bathroom which were clean for the price. The location is good and within 1 mile of almost all tourist attractions. Breakfast provided is ok. The kitchen may be used on request if not busy at the moment.

Everything. Location was just next to the main river and golden dragon. Centrally located w plenty of food options. Approx 20 mins walk to my khe beach. And less than 10 mins walk to the bus stop to various places like markets, marble mountains. Staff are all friendly and helpful. Beds have privacy curtains and nice clean sheets.

They require you to take off your shoes before entering the building but the floor is dirty inside as some guests just ignore this rule. So need to be more strict about it.

They have been working on renovation of the hostel and some parts were really not enough clean. Im sure they will be better after this process.

Hostel has just a perfect location if you are not very curious for the seaside part of the city. Dorms are quite big and comfortable.

- you could feel when someone was moving in the bed - the fan was creating some movement as well - towels should be changed more often - very small toilet

Not the best location. Very close to the night market and the dragon bridge which is pretty cool but if you wanted to go to the beach, you either had to walk for quite a while or rent a scooter (which you can do in the hostel). It's not like it was advertised differently though. Loud music from outside (karaoke across the street). Sadly the people that stayed in my dorm weren't the most considerate. One guy took a girl back to his bed (I'm pretty sure they had sex) and another guy took a phone call in his bed at like 4AM. Again, not the fault of the hostel, but maybe it would be possible to refuse people to take other persons to their bed in the night. The toilets are very small and there was no waste basket in there (for toilet paper/ sanitary products).

Clean hostel with comfy beds. Each bed had its own tiny fan to cool it down if wanted. The curtains around the bed provided privacy. Free, very simple breakfast. Two slices of bread with two eggs and a bit of cucumber. The staff was very friendly and answered all my questions to the best of their knowledge (where to buy a powerbank etc.) The room had a little balcony as well.

Comfiest beds I’ve stayed on in a long time in Vietnam. The room was spacious and comfortable. The water was warm and the bathroom was clean. So close to the night market and dragon bridge which was great because we got to watch the show.
