We had a great stay with Mr Lam and Ms My. They ensured our time in Hue was awesome, and provided us with recommendations on what to visit and where to eat. Ms. My is a great cook, the breakfast was really good. Mr. Lam and Ms My went over and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable. The property is in a central location and scooters are available for rent.

We loved everything!

This was by far our favourite homestay in Vietnam. Lam and My were extremely welcoming and my family felt right at home immediately. The room was spacious, clean, well laid out and the beds were extremely comfortable. We had the best sleeps because the homestay is on a nice quiet street. No horns honking or dogs barking or loud music. The homestay is just over the bridge from the main tourist area and we easily walked into town with our kids. Lam and My spoke excellent English and we learned so much about the culture in Vietnam and Hue specifically. We also hired Lam to drive us to Danang which was fantastic. We took the scenic route and stopped at a few beautiful beaches, an extravagant cemetery, a delicious coffee shop, and a lookout. We definitely recommend staying at Lam's Garden Boutique!

Lam and My were incredibly lovely and welcoming to our family (with two children aged 1 and 9). Great, local noodle soup from breakfast plus fried egg with baguette and fresh fruit. An abundance of useful information too. A really great stay - thank you!

Lam's Garden Boutique Homestay is the perfect place to stay when visiting Hué: the rooms are extremely spacious, comfortable, well equiped and clean. The location is in a lovely neighbourhood in walking distance to the city center and wonderful vegetarian/vegan restaurants. However, the greatest asset are Lâm and My who treated us like family and organised excellent sightseeing trips to the mausoleums and the DMZ. We strongly recommend this homestay!

Nothing - the whole experience was incredible.

This was our favourite stay so far in Vietnam! Lam and his wife My were SO nice. They both greeted us by name every time they saw us, and My helped us plan a full day itinerary to make sure we got to see all the best sights in Hue. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was amazing. My brought us some water, bananas and snacks to enjoy while she checked us in. The included breakfast was incredible, it was a feast every morning, with noodle soup, baguettes, eggs, fruit, juice AND coffee. We felt very spoilt!! Our original room was incredible, but Lam and My ended up upgrading us after 2 nights and this room was amazing! The rooms and bathrooms are super spacious. The location was great - plenty of restaurants nearby, and My gave us some great recommendations. We could not rate this place any higher, like I said, it was our favourite stay in Vietnam :)

Firstly, My and Lam are incredible hosts! They are so kind and welcoming and it immediately felt like we had known them for years. They were on hand for any issues we had, information on the area, and also quick to reply on WhatsApp. The room we had was a fantastic size and have everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was also very comfortable. The home cooked breakfast they provided was exceptional, really nice to get some authentic food in the morning, and on the day we left they boxed some up for us to take on our travels. The location is lovely and quiet and a 10 minute walk from the busy centre, they also have bikes for rent if you want. Couldn't recommend this place more, definitely the best place to stay in Hue!

The only thing I can say is the WiFi could use some improvement.

Good location, clean and tidy, quiet and private, amazing breakfasts, lovely and friendly hotel staff, close to all kinds of restaurants and the city center on foot. Overall this was a dream stay. I have to commend the owners of the hotel, because they were very friendly to me and even made me a very early breakfast on the day of my check-out (I had to leave around 6AM) and made sure I am well fed for my next journey :) The breakfast themselves were absolutely stunning and probably the best I had in whole of Vietnam. Thank you! If I'm ever in Hue again, I would definitely consider staying here.

Anyone staying at Hue I would highly recommend Lam’s garden. You won’t find a better value stay than this place! Exceptionally clean and very spacious; the hotel is tastefully decorated. Loved the unique structure of the building; situated at a perfect distance (10 min walk) closed to the tourist area & great restaurants yet at a quiet and safe local residential neighbourhood away from the street noise. The best part of our stay is how the owners, Lam & My (&2 cute boys), treated us like family - attentive and sincere. My made us delicious traditional Hue style and western breakfast, one of the best dishes we had in Vietnam. They took very good care of us, always made sure our days and transports are arranged, water/fruits/umbrellas, and made sure we got to our next destination safely. We will definitely stay at Lam’s again shall we return to Hue~

Lam and My are the kindest people who will go out of there way for you. Our room was spacious and the accommodations are a 15 minute walk from an area full of restaurants. The breakfast My served up every morning was exceptional. We would absolutely stay here if visiting Hue again.

The owners, Lam and My, were very friendly and caring, ensuring that our comfort was well taken care of. The included breakfast was freshly prepared and included a wide variety of fruits. The room was spacious and had a lot of table/storage space to keep things. The wardrobe had a lot of hangers. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and friendly, like staying in someone's home.

Amazing stay with Lam and My! From check in to the moment we left they were so welcoming and sweet. Their son even came out to help us with our bags (but could only carry the water bottle 😆). They went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we could need and even got up with us at 6am to make us an amazing breakfast as we were getting a bus. They organised the bus to Phong Nha for us which picked us from outside the Homestay and it was so so helpful! Breakfast was incredible, My is a wonderful cook and served their local food which had great flavours specific to Hue! It consisted of pho (she cooked a vegetarian one for me which was so thoughtful), omelettes and baguettes, fresh fruit, orange juice (the best we have had!) and coffee. I would recommend this place to anyone going to Hue. I haven’t even got round to the room yet but the building was so well decorated, the room was amazing with a huge bed. Walking distance to the busy nightlife area of Hue which was lovely as you walk over the bridge and then everything you could need is right there. They also recommended restaurants to us on the first night which we went to the next night as well as the food was so good!

The hosts are kind and friendly people and speak a very good english, They did everything to make us feel home. The breakfast was huge, the rooms are new and spotless, and WiFi is working perfectly (highly recommended for who needs a stable connection to work). I think this was one of the most comfortable bed I had since 2 weeks trip in Vietnam. The room had both, a ventilator and A/C. It’s a shame we stayed here only one night, if we will come back to Huè we will be back for sure to this homestay.

Lam and My are exceptional hosts nothing is too much trouble and they made our stay in Hue very enjoyable. They had good suggestions for restaurants and we did an excellent day trip with Lam- we only had one full day but it was well planned and we saw as much as possible.

Lam and My are such nice people that they made me stay a very happy one. Their two boys are a lot of fun too. The room I had was very big and comfortable with a nice balcony. Breakfast was extremely filling every day. If I ever go back to Hue, I will definitely stay here.

The location was quiet and in walking distance to the lively city center. The service and hospitality we got from Lam was exceptional! We really felt part of the home, he made us feel welcome and gave us multiple great recommendations of where to eat and what to see. The room was also very nice, spacious and with new furniture and facilities. We also suggest having breakfast at lam's place, it is very good and lan well be sure to let you try a lot of different traditional Vietnamese food!

The facilities in the bathroom is simpler, would prefer if they could provide refillable shampoo or shower gel but couldn't ask for more given the price!! It's already close to perfect. Other that that, the facilities and sewage is superb!

So comfortable, feels like home! The owners are so friendly and their food tasted amazing! They are very genuine and served us very well. I would totally go back hue just to stay in their accoms. 100/10 recommend this place if you are coming hue!!!

Owners are incredible hosts, Lam and My made their home a highlight of our visit to Hue. The room was large and clean , beds were comfortable. The breakfast included was delicious and plenty of it! The house is just off a side street so you get a break from the noise of the city. We also rented a Scott from the to explore the city and check out some of there recommendations. Highly recommend.

We‘ve been there in rain season and the room was very cold with no heater. a small heater would be much appreciated, but I understand it‘s only a couple weeks per year.

There was absolutely nothing not to like, can only say you must stay here

Breakfast was absolutely delish, so fresh & tasty, the location was perfect, very quiet at night, close enough to walk to walking street. Lovely little store around the corner for cheap beer. Lam and Mi are perfect hosts, you must stay here if you visit Hue. Lam can do visits to local attractions & DMZ zone & local markets, you must do the fish market at sunrise with Lam, spectacular.

Perfect Place to spend a few days in Hue. Lam and My are the best and helped me with everything I needed and even more. Lam had some great trips and recommendations for me for Hue and even for my next stops in Vietnam. Because of that I even even extended for one night. It was an absolute delight to stay with them. My‘s breakfast is also worth mentioning. It was so much and so delicious! Thank you both for the great time I had with you and made my first homestay so amazing. Will never forget it! Would recommend it to everybody.
