The outdoor seating on the balcony was uncomfortable for 2 people as it was only a small corner bench chair. Bathrooms could use a bit more of a deep clean in between guests, looks superficially cleaned. Drinks very SUPER overpriced, around 200 000 dong a cocktail, 70 000 dong a beer, and 60 000 dong a coke.

Got “upgraded” to Lotus Elegance cruise as there was a “problem” with my booking. The rooms were very nice. Staff were friendly. Very good organization. Breakfast and brunch was very good. Definitely stay 2 nights. If you stay 1 night you’ll only get like 20 rushed hours on the cruise.

The food was really not on point, dinner a try at western food and everyone had a different dish, some got great grilled shrimps but we had to eat a boiled tasteless chicken even though we don’t have any allergies… Bathtub was nasty, had to clean it myself. Automatic curtains were not working, some problems with the bathtub too. The rear rooms are really noisy with the engine and the window and terrace give a direct view on the crew operating on the little boat + we get all the smokes from the engine so we couldn’t open the window or enjoy the terrace. Over priced drinks including drinking water !

Really nice cruise, the rooms are very very nice and luxurious, beautiful views and nice activities.

Length of travel from the harbour to cruise is about an hour, so reduced total cruise time. On last day, check out is at 8am not 11 as advertised, so you cannot sleep in. There are not too many activities for non swimmers during the day, only kayaking and swimming provided. It was cold when we visited to only seat on the boat and relax. Breakfast options could be improved.

Nice interior. Room layouts and set up is great. Staff were exceptionally friendly and available to help at all times. Rooms were clean and tidy. The day tours were informative and engaging. The food was pretty good, nice variety for lunch and dinner and inclusive for any dietary requirements

Unfortunately there was trash around the cruise and you couldn’t enjoy the view from the balcony seeing trash swimming in front of you, at least it was not the whole time like that. But really sad to see

We stayed for 2 nights and it was very comfortable and clean. The staff were amazing, helpful and funny :). Food was great and the activities were very enjoyable.

One thing to mention was that the hot water wasn't working for the first shower but after we told staff, it was fixed! Another thing I would suggest would be to put heaters on the top deck during the evning activities because though lots of people attended for the Happy Hour and cooking class, I think it would have encouraged more to attend.

The experience was absolutely incredible! I didn't really know what to expect but the three day trip was so full of activities with things I probably wouldn't have booked myself anyway such as cooking classes, day trips to Cat Ba Island, kayaking to caves and to fishing villages! The room was upgraded which was so lovely and well presented. The food had much variety to it and you were never feeling hungry! The staff were kind and accommodating as well, felt very welcomed! Can highly recommend this cruise!

The dinner on the 1st night was a little strange, a modern Western meal that missed the taste... The transfer back to Hanoi was 1 hour late, we thought they forgot about us!

We were so nervous going to this cruise because of the recent bad reviews.... But proven wrong, the agent was great with transfer organising. The boat looked like the pictures, and the connecting rooms were spacious and just like the photo. The balcony and the open windows were great to view the Bay. The staff and Mr Dee were great with our family. They took care of our kids' needs.

We were placed in a room different to what we paid for which was right next to the motor room, kitchen and staff area. It was extremely noisy, the bed was like sleeping on a rock so we didn’t get much sleep and woke up with pains. It was smelly from the boat fumes. We were awoken to the kitchen playing their radio at 4:30 am! The room was dirty and required major upkeep. We were placed here due to a company booking at the same time who got the preferences to have the best rooms despite only staying 1 night compared to our 3 night stay.

The food was exceptional and plenty of it! Probably too much and we felt obligated to attempt to eat most of it out of respect. The presentation of the plates was very artistic. The cruise manager was very helpful and funny. The staff went above and beyond to help you. When we were moved to a different room we were much happier and more comfortable and would rate the balcony rooms much higher than what we were first placed in.

The food served was not as per the expectations and I have to stay empty stomach for almost 24 hours. I was on fruits, chips and biscuits. Indian Vegetarian Food should be added in the menu.

Drink prices for water and non alcoholic drinks are way overpriced (60000 per coke) Apparently it’s forbidden to bring drinks and water on the boat, which nobody told us and we couldn’t find it in the booking accommodation guidelines. When we asked at the reception if they have a wine opener, they wanted a fine of 300000 dong per bottle of wine even if we drink it in our room. Our wine bottle was 150000 dong from a supermarket :/. After some debate we were allowed to drink it our room.

We got „upgraded“ to another boat of the same company like some mentioned in the review. It sounded a bit sketchy, so we asked for some photos which seemed all fine. The rooms were almost identical to the pictures and clean. The personal was very nice. At the karaoke night they even sang a lot of songs, which created a funny atmosphere. The program (3Days, 2Nights) was good. We had a separate program to those who booked 1 night. The food was also good.

Needs a little more cleaning. Better soaps and shampoos. When there are children perhaps better music that did not have explicit lyrics. Better breakfast.

The boat is in need of some well earned maintenance. The smaller day boat does not allow for easy access to the water.

The staff were lovely. The second day and night were the best. The second evening meal was exceptional, but I couldn’t say the same for the first night.

Guests booking the 1 night cruise should be aware you get less than 24 hours on board and you have to get up very early on the second day for the activity. The cruise is billed as 4 stars. The day before we got a message saying we'd been upgraded to 5 stars. Although we enjoyed it as above I would not rate this as a luxury experience. It was advertised to include a tai chi class, this was at 6am and lasted 15 mins. The cooking classes were better as this took place before dinner and was how to roll a spring roll, that's all.

Lovely cruise. Food was plentiful and delicious., lots of sea food. Drinks pricier than we expected. Large room with amazing views and balcony, we particularly loved the shower. Activities included kayaking and swimming. For the 3 day cruise we had the bonus of more kayaking and swimming, as well as cycling to a village on Cat Ba island.

There was maintenance being done while we were on the cruise, not very nice as we, the guest, were walking with people fixing stuff in the boat. At the end of the day, the top bar was super nice but the music was extremely loud and makes it a bit uncomfortable after such a long day and having in consideration how peaceful the view is.

Service agent tell me upgrade me from 4 stars cruise to 5 stars cruise before I arrive. However I feel they downgraded my booking to 3 stars cruise. The boat facilities was dirty and something broken and not fix well! Breakfast was terrible less choice only bread & noodle, not even an egg.

cruise staff need to do everything from morning to evening.They are very hard working. Lunch and Dinner were good but foods not hot.

Water and soft drinks are chargeable, which wasn't clear on the menu. Shower didn't drain very well.

Overall felt we were scammed by spending our whole day being ‘cruising’ on a much smaller boat, without any ability to get back to our suite onboard the cruise boat where we’ve booked, to have a rest in the comfort of our own room. Big boat only cruised for short distance, like up & then down within a few km, vs cruising passengers to the various destinations. I have requested a window table, and as acknowledged by the cruise rep (can follow our communications on here), only to be told by the boat crew to move for other ‘1 night passengers’ who came on the next day. we were already seated at our table. I thought it was very rude to ask us to move, to make way for other ‘new’ passengers.

The prices for drinks are very expensive, compared to the usual prices in Vietnam. The boat is not in its best condition and could deserve some renovations. If you wanna cruise around and just relax on the boat, you should not book this cruise. The program is quite scheduled.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The food was special and the staff very friendly and attentive. The offered activities are a nice and fun (e.g. karaoke, kayak)

Kayaking activity felt a bit rushed - we were told we had an hour to kayak but were forced to be back on the boat after only 45 minutes. Also, we thought the water was free but they charge, which we didn’t expect as when one of our group asked for a water, they brought it for the whole table and charged for it all. I think they should be clearer on this and only give water to the person in the group who requests one considering it’s quite expensive.

Very good cruise. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Food was very good (if you like seafood!)
