Lana gave me an upgrade on the room that I booked. I stayed one week in total and felt very welcomed and part of the family. Lana will help you with basically anything, she is such a nice, loving and positive person and makes the best homemade yoghurt! Also the guests always went to the beach nearby (10min walk) to play volleyball, swim in the sea while sunset and hang around in the bars. That means after one day you will find friends for sure :) Thank you for having me! Would definitely come again!

lana was the most wonderful host, so kind and generous and went above and beyond to bring together people at the hostel for trips and dinners. my room was perfect, clean, comfortable with a cool outdoor bathroom. location is close to the beach and in walking distance of bars and restaurants while being away from the main road loved my time here!

Everything was amazing.

Phu Quoc was the best time of my Vietnam trip because of Lanas hostel. The atmosphere is amazing. It is a true backpacker spirit and it is so easy to meet wonderful people and eat family dinners together. Here are some more perks of the hostel: - free drinking water - curtains - homecooked breakfast/dinner available - laundry service is very close - scooter rental. Also Lana helps you organise any sort of activity you want to do, for me it was scuba diving. I had an amzing time Lana. Thank you so much!

This was such a fun stay! Lana is a champion and goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome, and every few days she holds a big communal 'family dinner' so all the guests can meet and get to know each other. On a practical level, it's close to a good number of decent eating and drinking options, and to the stop for the free bus that runs from the airport up and down the coast.

Very happy I had the chance to stay at Lana’s for an entire week. I had not initially planed for such a long time in Phu Quoc but when you stay at Lana’s it’s just impossible not to extend (I did twice). Her kindness and dedication are what made my stay so wonderful. If you are looking for real human connections and bounding, Lana land is definitely your best option in Phu Quoc!

Lana and her family are amazing! I forgot a speaker when I left Phu Quoc and she found someone that could bring it to Australia for me I don't know any other hostel who would do it. Lana is different since she also has a passion for traveling herself. it's a true save haven for backpackers. also I injured my foot at the beach and when they saw it they immediately helped to get the wound clean and that it heals. if you read this Lana Thank you again so much its was a pleasure staying with you and I definitely come back one day!

Mosquitos! I believe i attract them!

Everything! If you want to get immerse in between a Vietnamese family and backpackers LANA LAND is the best place! Beach is quite close and on the way to the main road you can find places to eat very affordable! Just think about you are going to go to a place which is in the middle of the nature so you might find beautiful little creatures! Mosquitos too!

There wasn’t anything I disliked about this stay

The homestay is very quiet and peaceful which is exactly what we wanted! The room we stayed in was nicely decorated & had a homely feel. Close to a couple cute coffee shops / restaurants, even the shared bathroom is cute. Lana is lovely & helpful, she really went out of her way to make sure we were happy!

I was here five years ago and returned this year since I liked it so much last time. Fortunately not much has changed over the years. Lana’s place is still very cosy and relaxed and Lana herself extremely friendly and helpful caring about her guest like her own children;).

No hot water in the shower, but it’s a thing in South Asia

Lana, the owner and her family, are very sweet, nice and helpful. She recommended us places to go like beaches and spas. You can also rent a scouter for a good price with her. Big and clean room with ac and a fan. Very quiet area. Good location near the main road.
