It's a 7-8hr bus ride to get there....but well worth it!

Stunning location high in the mountains on edge of rice paddies.... Lapatan Paradise is beautifully constructed with great attention to detail...designed by Nam our host. Nam and his wife Giang welcomed us warmly, picking us up by bike for the short ride to the homestay. Giang made delicious local food, and Nam guided us on foot and by scooter in the surrounding countryside. Our bungalow was charming, immaculately clean and very comfortable. We slept so well! 'Hidden gem' is such a cliche but Lapantan Paradise truly is one. We plan to return next year!

This homestay exceeded my expectations. From the warm welcome to the send off, Nam and his wife made what was a good stay great. They met us at the bus station and brought us to their place with dinner ready to go. Nam's wife Xen is an incredible chef and made us delicious meals. I had come with an idea of things I wanted to see and do, and Nam went through them with me, adding additional recommendations or telling me what wasn't worth it. On one day, there were a few things I wanted to see, and Nam and the next door neighbour made time to give us a motorcycle tour all around the province so I could see everything on my list plus things they thought would be great (and they were right)! I cannot believe how much Nam and Xen (and their neighbour) went out of their way to make sure we had an incredible stay. Not to mention, the home is quite peaceful with lots of farm animals around! We already miss this family!

Everything was perfect, apart one tiny small thing. The rooms are not heated and we went there during winter, so it might get a bit cold in the rooms. Anyway sleeping is still great as the duvets are very warm.

The place is really a Paradise, the owners are great, and the food the landlady cooked for us was amazing! Not to speak about the surroundings, so beautiful!

This was honestly the best homestay we had in Vietnam during our motorcycle tour! We got welcomed so heartwarming and felt like home up from the first Moment. We got the best food cooked doesn’t matter if breakfast, lunch or dinner - it was the best food we had in Vietnam! We liked our stay so much that we also extended for on more day (if we would have had more time then probably not just for one day!). This is a real secret paradise and if you have the chance to come and spend some time here, definitely do it! We would always come again, this place with it’s heartwarming people will always stay in our mind and heart! Thank you for this unforgettable time!

Really nothing to complain about. You will be surprised how pleasant and relaxing it is in the mountains. What's more, you will also enjoy the local cuisine, which is varied and very tasty.

If you want to spend a few days in a true earthly paradise, choose this place. The care and kindness of the family is literally unbelievable. I don't even have to talk about the beauty of the surrounding nature.

We loved our stay here. It was one of the nicest places we stayed on our Vietnam vacation. The nature around is very beautiful and peaceful. The view from the bungalow was stunning and everything was very nice and cozy. The hosts are super welcoming and lovely and the food was delicious. A nice holiday place, good for exploring the valley with the rice field terraces. The hosts are very helpful. They both speak English, so there are no problems communicating. Food and drinks is served in the small restaurant by request.

the bed was amazing, the view was fantastic, the di nner was excellent and huge. the location is awesome and different of the rest of the valley. i arrived with two bags and the lady from the house came to pick me up and she managed extremely well.considering the narrow paths!!!

Nam and his wife were the best hosts ever. Nam was always around and trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. His wife is a superb cook. Coffee and tea are always available. The view from the rooms is superb. We liked the balconies.

We went by local bus from Hanoi which proved to be an arduous journey, my advise, push the boat out, and organise a taxi, which actually is not as expensive as you might think, we arrived stressed from the bus journey, not a way to start you your holiday

The location to view the rice terraces is superb The hosts are so warm and friendly, taking exceptional attention to your comfort and needs, Nam the host even took us for a guided walk around the terraces, at no extra costs, his wife equally had that warmth and desire to please, so in summary if you are coming to this area to view the terraces etc. There are a few homestay in the area, but none better than Lanpantan Paradise

You are in the nature so expect bugs. Although we are used to it I have to admit that it was quite a lot on the night we stayed. It is better if you have some experience riding motorcyles if you want to reach the place on your own.

The whole experience was great. The homestay is located right in the most beautiful rice fields terrasses of the area so you'll have plenty of incredible views there (also from your bungalow). Tip : take a walk on the left path righ when you get out of the property, 30 min worth it of spectacular views. The bungalow itself is comfortable with a nice bed, good shower (luxury in the area), mosquito net, nice balcony. The family running the homestay is very nice, attentive and helpful. They prepared us a nice and big dinner on arrival (150k / pers) which was a nice welcome for us after a long drive. Overall I would definitely recommend this homestay if you are travelling the area.

Love my stay.

Secluded area with beautiful sight to offer. The room have a balcony with over seeing rice terraces. I was only there for a night, how I wish I could stay longer. There was a mini walk nearby into the rice terrences and it was beautiful. Food was good and the family was very friendly. Owner speaks good English as well. I was very happy with my stay.

The last 100m to reach the homestay was a bit difficult since it's quite small, but totally manageable if ride slowly.

An authentic homestay with super view to the surrounding rice fields. Host family was so so friendly and funny, they also cooked the best meal with reasonable price. Plenty of trekking options around, when I came it was not the rice season at all but I could already see it will be magnificent when arriving around aug or sep. So we will plan another trip and can't wait to visit again.

The view is really nice. Particularly, the local food cooked by the owner is excellent. I love every dishes the wife prepare for us. Moreover, the owner is so friendly and support us. The man guide us and pin in our map many great place for sightseeing.
