Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

ItalyBreakfast can be improved for western travelers both the salty and the sweet (some more croissants, better marmalades etc).
Really new and nice hotel in a very good position (there are good restaurants and cafe around, we advise MiMi restaurant) The room is spacious and bathroom has a proper shower but is on the same level of the rest of the bathroom and the water was exiting from below. It was tidy and clean but they need to be careful because now everything is new but you can see that it will need a DEEP clean sooner or later.

New ZealandThe staff we always busy on their phones at reception. I had checked before arriving they would be able to help book sight seeing or a transfer. Unfortunately all except one young lady didn't speak English and avoided communicating at all cost. All other other hotels greeted us when coming and going for the day and made us feel very welcome. It was unfortunate this wasn't the case at Len's. The drainage in the shower was terrible and flooded the bathroom, we reported this to reception but I am doubtful it was noted. Be aware if you have mobility challenges the foot paths/side walk around the hotel are challenges. there are many trip hazards where the surface is badly broken or missing. We found the hall way on our floor very noisy, other hotels had please keep quiet signs but there were none displayed.
It was nice and clean and the room was a good size. The photos were completely accurate. Breakfast was delicious and good options available for a vegetarian. This is a nice place to stay and close to the market/night market.
