Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe WiFi was sketchy in the room and reception which made work meetings back home (UK) challenging. Nothing that would put me off returning - I’ll be back in October!
The location is amazing - the river view is excellent, though having stayed here a number of times, the City view rooms are quieter (less traffic noise). Breakfast is very good as you become accustomed to in SE Asia. Staff are super friendly and very helpful. Roof top bar and pool have great views over the city and river. The gym is decent for a smaller hotel too.

NetherlandsThe hotel was really good. I stayed in a nearby hotel for and I'm glad I changed it. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a wide selection. I've been traveling in Asia for almost a month, always staying in 4 or 5-star hotels, and this is the only one where they served poached eggs. The views from the infinity pool were absolutely fantastic. The pool is located on the 24th floor, offering a breathtaking perspective. What's even better is that you can enjoy the pool in the evening, allowing you to witness the mesmerizing night view that will leave you in awe.

United StatesWhile the pool was as described it could have been slightly better. It didn't really wow me as much as other locations I stayed at in District 1. There was a film festival while I stayed and since we were so close to the where the outside party was we could hear everything. So the rooms aren't sound proof. Only saving grace is that the party was shut off by 10pm so didn't disturb sleeping but if that went on all night it would have been a disaster.
The location was fantastic. It was so close to everything central in District 1. Since it was near the river there was actually a decent breeze during the evenings. It was still extremely hot but a breeze is always nice.

IndiaTwo things we did not like: 1. The bathrooms were very uncomfortable. The walls were glass, and the door had a slit through which one could see inside. Most of the party was not comfortable with lack of privacy. 2. The concierge desk does not guide properly. We paid a bomb for a half day hop on hop off bus tour, but he did not tell us that there are multiple companies and many different buses for this service. Our company buses were few in number and running late by half an hr....and we wasted a lot of time waiting for the buses to arrive at every stop...and missed most of the tour as we had to catch a flight. Little more guidance would have helped us save money, and not waste our last day.
Location is the best thing about this hotel. Most of the old quarter with places of interest are walking distance. A lot of good restaurants near by. The view from the terrace pool as well as river facing room is great. Breakfast buffet was good.

United KingdomThe noise can be an issue if on a riverside view. Cleaning was good, but better on some days than others.
The location is excellent. The hotel is well-maintained, this is particularly evident in the rooms and the gym (unusual for a hotel). The spa is not owned by the hotel but is reasonable for a hotel spa. Service at the spa does not match the hotel staff though. Breakfast is awesome - so much choice and constantly filled up with fresh produce throughout the morning right up until closing.

CanadaAlthough the roof top pool was pleasant it was small and crowded. Chairs the whole way round 3 sides with glass on the 4th. The hotel bar was open to the pool so that you felt if you wanted to actually have a swim you were a little on display...
