The host Robert could not be friendlier or more helpful. He booked yours, organised laundry and made restaurant bookings for us, all at a great rate. While there is no breakfast Robert often organised Madame Kahan’s amazing Bahn Mi for free for my son and I. Pool was very relaxing after a hot day on the go. Rooms were fine and the beds the most comfortable we slept in while in Vietnam.

The hotel is an absolute gem, the location is perfect. 5 min walk to the old quarter, everything close by. The hotel really has been looked after and the rooms are spotless, the staff are so friendly. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is very convenient, staffs are friendly and helpful, can find many stalls selling Banh mi, Vietnamese coffee, and foods nearby, all are within walking distance, the room is big & clean.

Everything was great.

The location was excellent. Steps away from everything you want to see and experience. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Robert was very helpful and kind. We enjoyed staying at the Lion King so much we added 2 days to our stay.

beautiful boutique hotel with so much charm, in the heart of hoi an, close to old town 5-10 minute walk to the river and 20 minute bike to the beach. Robert was so gracious and had amazing recommendations to do local off the beaten path things. pool was in a gorgeous courtyard

Robert was amazing help, all he wanted to do was look after his guests in every way. Loved the welcome bhan mi and good bye selection of sweets. Special mention of thanks to the caretaker of the place too.

The customer service was amazing. The manager is very charismatic and helpful; advising my brother and I about places to visit. The porter was very charming and smiley and is a credit to the hotel. My brother and I's rooms were excellent.

Fantastic location, just a few minutes to the riverside and an easy walk to all the coffee shops / cafes / restaurants etc. The pool was a great spot to cool down, mostly shaded and wonderfully refreshing water temperature. Room was beautifully decorated, double glazing was very effective - we had great nights sleep. Robert the owner was super friendly and helpful, great suggestions of what to do / where to go, welcome and departure goodie bag was very nice gesture. Personal service most welcome. 100pct would stay again and recommend.

Robert and his exceptional hospitality, we only stayed one night but he provided us with so many suggestions and helped us arrange for a private bamboo tour and car to the airport. Not just Robert, all the staff were so kind and gentle. The pool area is so cute, and our room was spacious for three people. I highly recommended and will return to Lion King and Robert
