The staff were extremely helpful and reliably communicated with us & assisted us with private transfer to Haiphong airport (coordinated taxi/ferry/taxi for us seamlessly) This was much appreciated especially since we don’t speak Vietnamese.

Beautiful house in a quiet street with nice garden for breakfasts and swimming pool on the rooftop. The rooms a new, clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts are marvelous (pancakes are must try). The team is doing their best to help the guests in all requests: motorbike rental, boat trips, buses, island tours. Would love to stay here again.

It is a little far from the Main Street which means it’s at least a 20 minute walk anywhere. Also means it’s quiet which was nice!

Really clean room and pool area. Pretty courtyard. It's about 20 mins walk from the centre which means the noise you hear was of everyday life, rather than bars etc. We really liked it here and stayed an extra day.

We had a very nice stay at Lynh's Villa. The building is very modern and is located a bit up on a hill - so it is mostly quiet. To get to the center of Cat Ba Town it takes a 10 to 15 minutes walk. Everything was clean and there is enough space for all tourists. We easily rented 2 scooter at the hotel and explored the island by ourselves. We can definietly recommend this place, if you are looking for a comfortable stay not directly in the center.

The property is lovely, not in the beach but doesn’t need to. It is surrounded of local shops and services, and not far from the beachfront. The staff is AMAZIN!! Super helpful, homemade breakfast, and very comfy beds

At arrival the weather was humid and the whole hotel is wet, floors wall etc. The bed stayed, miraculously, dry. Not a problem only of this hotel, also all the restuaurants etc were wet. Keep your hotel door and window closed ! Most of the staff did not speak english, too bad because it could have made the stay more comfortable.

Clean and bright property. The staff is welcoming. It is a 15 minute walk, hilly, to the commercial town for all the restaurants (or rent a scooter at the property). We hired scooters at the property and booked a Cruise day tour with them. The mango pancakes in the morning were the best !

Beautiful building with a yard full of flowers. The rooms are really comfortable with a small balcony with a great view. Very warm welcome and wonderful banana pancakes.

Overall service was not so great: they forgot to make our room when we were there, we had to go ask them for toilet paper and we did some laundry that we had to remind them a few times for them to bring back our clothes. Not terrible, but not great.

Very nice charming hotel and comfortable rooms. Good breakfast. They also were responsive to help us retrieve something we left in the room after leaving by shipping it to another place in Vietnam and that was fantastic.

Something weird happened to our booking. First night we got separate beds while we booked a double. Can happen. Staff communicated this clearly and solved it for us the next days.

It was very clean and everyone was very friendly. The room was very nice. We booked a tour and a scooter in the hotel for a fair price which was very comfortable.

Pool was not heated. Rooms where cold, but we where there during "winter". We got extra blankets so it was fine.

One of our rooms didn’t have a separate shower (door) so the whole bathroom got wet. Balcony side can be noisy from garden. Other guests were smoking below us on their balcony and the smell came up (not hotel’s fault).

No real complaints, but The bedding was a bit old and although I think it was clean it could be fresher.

Lynh’s villa is away from the tourist strip and it’s peaceful and tranquil. The rooms are lovely, the breakfast was great especially the pancakes (the other reviews are correct!). Service was understated and very good and helpful.

Nothing. This is a beautiful hotel and exceptional value for money.

The hotel is set back from the main road, around a beautiful and peaceful courtyard. There is a lovely rooftop swimming pool. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff are really friendly and welcoming. We wished we could have stayed longer. The location is a short walk in to Cat Hai where there are plenty of restaurants and bars. Breakfast was included - fresh fruit, eggs and pancakes (delicious) as well as Vietnamese options. We didn’t realise before we arrived at Lynh’s Villa but they also offer mopeds and can arrange tours for you.
