Would have liked the option to rent scooters directly at the property (however they gave us a recommendation of where to rent from).

A good find. The views and location was great, although a little bit further from other attractions. The food in the restaurant was great. The staff (especially Ung) we’re friendly and very accommodating, helping us out with transport, recommendations, etc… Would definitely recommend.

For the price we paid, I was hoping for a better door 😂 it might sound funny, but big gap underneath the two doors in our room means two things: bugs coming in at night, and loss of aircon coolness in the room

Location-wise, it’s located in a lovely valley surrounded by staircase paddy fields, but far away from the usual commercialised Mai Chau town, so perfect for those who want peace, like us. We took an afternoon walk around the area and got a nice early morning bike ride to nearby area which was quite lovely. The food was absolutely gorgeous! Locally sourced ingredients, seasoned to perfection, in my humble opinion. The staff were super nice, solicitous and attentive to our needs

Nothing major, it would be helpful to have an electric socket by bedside and some bedside tables. Also it would of been nice to have some sun loungers around the pool, or some comfy chairs outside. A menu in each room would also be helpful, but none of these things distracted from the enjoyment of our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were above and beyond helpful, and really friendly. Great local food available , and big portions. The room was large, and comfortable, and the views amazing. It's a beautiful location stunning scenery peaceful and quiet, great to get away for a relaxing few days. We were sad to leave, we were made so welcome.

The resort is a little outside of town, so make sure you have a method of travelling around in case you don't want to have every meal at the resort.

The resort is absolutely stunning & the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. We especially liked the naturally heated swimming pool & the views of the surrounding area.

We had the deluxe cottage next to the Pool and it was very clean, nice rain shower, beautiful view to the mountains and clean pool. The restaurant from the homestay was super delicicous and all in all very fair and good prices. Close to the waterfalls by walking. Staff is super friendly we enjoyed it. Thank you so much!

The room, the view, the service, and the food were all fabulous, everything was absolutely perfect. The hotel manager was super friendly, they even managed to give us our room 4 hours earlier. The buffet breakfast has a wide selection of fine foods, and you can also ask for local Pho with custom ingredients. The staff was lovely. We also recommend the "Hard Trekking - Unimagine level" Sapa rice-filed tour, which was amazing with our lovely local guide. Traditional local architecture design is also fantastic, they paid attention to every detail of the whole resort.

The problem is that the operators are simply too greedy. The exorbitant prices raise expectations that cannot be fulfilled in the slightest and leave guests in a real disbelief. The "deluxe" room was charged with around 70 USD per night (without discount allegedly even a fantasy price of nearly 350 USD). After travelling through southern east Asia and particularly Vietnam numerous times, it is worth half at most (during warm summer months). The prices for food are also exorbitant, for these costs you can dine in top restaurants in big cities. Be aware that the hotel is far away from Mai Chau (approximately 30 minutes by car) and it does not offer a real restaurant service where you can choose spontaneously. Rather, the food must be pre-ordered at least one hour in advance (supposedly to be fresh, but at this price level and in Asia this is a matter of course anyway). Breakfast: The orange juice was diluted with water, the salad was served with mayonnaise. The hotel is supposed to be new, but at least the furnishings (such as the toilet) were old and worn – obviously they have already been in use elsewhere. Also, the room was not clean, there was no closet or other possibility to store clothes and the hot water supply did not work. Finally, it is striking that the accounts for many of the very good "guest" reviews have since been deleted. Shamed be who thinks evil of it ;)

The one point is given for the staff who tried to manage the disaster to some extent. They provided an oven as the temperatures dropped to freezing point at night and the heating with air conditioning was nowhere near enough for the hut-like structure.
