Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The gentleman in the parking lot set our motorcycles accordingly. In the morning when we got up, the motorcycles were under an umbrella and the seats were covered with sunscreen.

United StatesWe stayed one night. The room smelled like sewer in the morning and we finally realized it was radiating form the bathroom. We were checking out anyways so we didn’t report it until check out. Upon check out, they audit the room for every towel, cup noodles, water bottles and wanted us to wait until they found the tv remote control that we never used. They even told our taxi driver not to drive off and wait for them until they locate the remote. That was totally unfair and unprofessional. We have never had any hotel audit for every towel, remote control and hold us hostage for that.

SingaporeWe stayed at family rooms with balcony but the bathroom was very smelly and the floor was stained of smell. So we always closed it and the Woden door from bathroom (another’s room) was very hard to close. Suggested to the owner that should check and solve it. Beside that everything was fine.
The location is good. Beside the hotel got a nice coffee “Amazon” reasonable and very delicious. Should try hot tofu too.

IndiaExcept for the first hours of arriving there was absolutely not anyone there to answere any question that one might have. Also one day before my staying finish somehow l find a person to tell her I extand my staying there one day more, but next day(saturday) they told me if IWant to stay this day I should pay much more, means I should pay 600000 for this day and I had to leave in hurry to find some where else . I think at least they could tell this the day I told them I intend to stay one more day. Never room cleaning.

GermanyThere was food left in the fridge from earlier guests. I had to ask for towels. The receptionist didn't speak English. The room could have been cleaned better, for example the big window in the room of the bathroom. There was no safe in the room.
