Nothing, everything was perfect

This is one of the best resort we stayed so far on our trip. The property layout is easy access to all amenities by walking or buggy service. The foods and spa service were excellent. The staff at Maia are friendly, courteous and tentative to every guest. A big shout out to Hieu for taking care of us from checking in, foods, spa and transportation. She make us feel welcome and being at home..

Amazing location. Beautiful villas with comfortable beds, a lovely garden with a nice pool. The staff are wonderfully helpful. Nice private beech. A wonderful restaurant with well cooked delicious food.

A bit far from city. Access to beach was partially closed in windy season. Luxurious spa, but massage was so-so.

Great experience! In Maia resort I felt like in heaven, very comfortable, nice and clean villas, amazing spa, very delicious food, very friendly and helpful staff...We've booked 3 nights, but at the end We extend our stay here for more 3 nights.

The only downside is the location. Maia resort is sort of in the middle of nowhere, so calling a cab to get around is rather difficult. But this is not something that the resort can fix anyway. If I want to have lowkey relaxing stay, I would still choose Maia resort again.

I had a great stay at Maia. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Upon check-in, they walked me through the app where I could book lunch/dinner and request services. We stayed at a 2-BR pool villa. The landscape is so beautiful. The bedrooms size are very decent and I particularly loved the master bathroom. There were free refills of water, soft drinks, and small treats for every night during our stay. The package that I booked allowed choosing between lunch/dinner or spa treatments. I was planning to check out the spa, but since the resort is located rather far from any good restaurants nearby, we ended up using the dinner options for all nights. They had different menus every day, but some of the food was repeated. I thought that the food was getting better towards the end of our stay. For some day, breakfast food options were even better than dinner. Food was generally good (~7/10).

One of the best hotel I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at in Asia. Gorgeous building, and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality villas (large and plenty of space), and high quality service. Also, they are one of few hotels where if you book inclusive it is a decent quality. The spa experience was comparable to some of the best in the world in my opinion. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. Thank you so much, this is how to run a hotel!

Loved everything about this property it was stunning. The rooms were amazing staff so friendly and helpful. The resort offers an App to order everything from room service to the complementary golf buggies and book spa and dinner reservations. The breakfasts where the best buffet we have had in Vietnam and the dinner here was incredible

Nothing negative about them. But for those stay for more than a few days, if they had more food variation that would be nice. (Since the resort is quite far away from everything we ended up eating at the resort restaurant most of the time)

The best thing about Maia is that all the staff there were very very welcoming and warm. Service level is very high and we were very satisfied with their service and hospitality. The Resort also has a very nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Excellent food and service. Quiet location away from the hustle and bustle typical of cities in Vietnam. Truly a gem of a resort. Hopefully the urge to overdevelop doesn't ruin this area.

We drink a lot of water, we went through the free bottles quickly and because you’re about 25-30 minutes from town, it became quite costly to buy simple things you would normally purchase cheaply from a local store. A shop would benefit this location greatly.

The remote location made it a much more relaxing experience. It was so quiet at night and the property grounds, room and facilities were top tier. The services provided, from being chauffeured to and from your room, to complimentary afternoon tea being Brough to the room every day, the secret little path from our horizon pool straight to the beach, to the app you can use to order room service and book dinner or spa treatments, even buggy pick up. It was all of the little extras that made this resort a complete stand out. The pride they take in their gardens and presentation or themselves, their food and drinks are exceptional.

Not much to do in the hotel. There was one movie night but the staff managing it didn’t seem to set up the actual movie properly. There was free popcorn that made up for it though :) I’ve stayed in many resorts and the value for money here was ok. With the meals it would have been nice to have desert options and drinks for dinner. The free shuttle is only one way and then you pay 700,000 to get back which when you think about it isn’t really free. The happy hour offer is ok, you have to buy two drinks to get a free one. It does however only last an hour. Spa services are quite expensive. The swim up pool bar isn’t a swim up pool bar and doesn’t exist to be fair, they are making the drinks in the main restaurant and then bringing them out which often takes up to 20 mins. The staff on the beach could be more attentive to help guests order drinks and snacks.

The hotel is really comfortable and the staff were exceptionally friendly, especially Miss Ly who worked in the restaurant and the chap that always has a huge smile that seems to be one of the restaurant managers. The dinners were tasty and the breakfast buffet was good too with loads of variety. The property is beautiful I would definitely recommend staying in a villa with a pool. The villas are well maintained and clean. Wifi is great.

No complaints - this place is stunning and relaxing.

Absolutely beautiful resort, fantastic breakfast and dinner included. The 2 bedroom apartment is spacious and light with a great layout, outdoor area with pool and cabana was superb. Mini bar restocked daily for free and little pastries delivered every afternoon. Gym was well equipped, main pool gorgeous. No complaints - was perfect end to our trip with a couple of days R& R. Absolutely divine.

A few too many rules. “No frolicking” was a bit odd. It’s also about 25 min. to the city, so your only food / drink options are at the hotel, which is fine. The restaurant is very good.

Everything was well kept, and organized. beautiful pool, beach, and room. This is a new first class upscale resort. Dress for dinner. Please say hi to Hui, Toia and my brother Hoa.

the property is located in a very windy spot. if you want to enjoy the beach do not come in winter or early spring. the beach was closed the whole time when we were there and it was meant to reopen only in April.

excellent hospitality, all the tiny little details were taken into account and our stay was just super relaxing. The pool villa is fabulous, really nicely made, brand new. it’s spacious and the interior is top notch. the service is on the next level, all the staff is extremely professional. we had an evening turn down service and the staff would leave complimentary homemade cakes everyday. the food in the restaurant is wonderful, excellent combination of local, Asian and European dishes. the breakfast is simply delicious, made from high quality ingredients and always very diverse. spa is divine, the facilities and services are excellent. we absolutely enjoyed all the treatments and although the prices are a bit high it’s totally worth the quality

I am coeliac and the staff took an extra effort to guarantee I was catered for. The head chefs directly involved themselves in advising what I could and could not eat, even going as far as personally preparing dishes to ensure they would be gluten free. I had a thorny evisa issue and the Hotel manage threw themselves into trying to resolve it for me.
