I stayed at Phong Le Vent before the Covid-19 and had a chance to come back this time. This particular homestay provides me a homy feeling with delicious food and warm hospitality.

Not very central. If you like shops and a lot of things to do nearby this is not the place for you. But if you want an authentic trip to the Vietnamese countryside then this is just the place for you!

Quiet. Country-side. Beautiful. No tourists. Helpful hosts. Free bikes you can ride around the beautiful fields.

food exceeded our expectations in terms of taste, We left Maison en Bambou Phong feeling completely satisfied and would highly recommend it for a unique experience, particularly if you're open to trying new things and are not seeking a luxurious setting.

Nothing but worth noting Sa Dec is off the beaten track so organise your transport to and from in advance or you might get stuck!!! Also, all the drivers struggled to find Maison Bambou- not sure why? 🤔🤔🤔😌

Our host and hostess were very welcoming and we were spoilt with fantastic local cooking!!! Our rooms were immaculately clean and comfortable but also very traditional. We liked that but maybe not for everyone. The roosters and karaoke from the neighbours added to the experience. It is off the beaten track which is why we went there but can make getting here a bit tricky. We were the only Western tourists in town….Phung, our host speaks French! And he tried very hard to help us with different things. I would recommend if you want a more authentic home stay. The whole Mekong Delta is very hot so if you you feel the heat choose somewhere with air con. Thank you to our hosts- we loved your food!

Mosquitos so bring repellent ( net provided over our bed) Bed could do with a topper pad. Transport to a from a bit difficult..fine if you have a scooter.( Road bit narrow for cars)

Beautiful environment amongst the flower growing area. Nice small roads to bike around. Bungalow rustic rural feel a bit like camping. ( rooster wakeup 😉) Swimming in the pond. Hammock to relax. Lovely helpful owners. Excellent breakfast & drinking water included. We opted for 2 dinners & these were a delight. Delicious.😋 Recommend.

The rooms are very much open to nature and so you will hear crickets, frogs, roosters, etc. during the night. I am fine with that kind of thing but light sleepers might find it more irritating.

I had such a fantastic stay at Maison en Bambou. It is a very unique experience! The place is like something from a backpacker's dreams. Beautifully crafted bamboo houses overlooking a little lake, with hens and roosters roaming around in the middle of beautiful countryside. The place is located quite far from Sa Dec town but that's a plus in my book because you are amongst miles and miles of gardens and farms. It's worth taking a walk around the area and feeling the peace and serenity. Myself and two others I met there rented motorbikes from the owner and took a trip across the river to Khu Di Tich Xeo Quyt nature reserve which is a real hidden gem. There you will see old Viet Cong buildings and tunnels situated amongst beautiful flowers, trees and lakes. Phuong the owner is super helpful and kind and his wife cooked breakfast and dinner for us too.

We had such a great time in this paradise. We had our own cute bungalow with all the confort needed. The dinner was really amazing !! The family is so welcoming. They do everything for you in order to have the perfect stay. Everything was clean. I highly recommend this place to live an experience in the middle of flowers, birds and nature!

It's in the flower village, very scenic to get to but a bit isolated. You will need a motorbike or taxi to get downtown. Shower is cold, not a big deal considering the 30 C temperature, but good to know.

The place is really charming, we even extended our stay to enjoy it. Small, family-run business, the staff go out of their way to help you. Would really recommend. Dinner is available at 120k if ordered in advance.

Nowhere to eat close by

This homestsay has not recovered from Covid, and is rather isolated in market garden surroundibgs, there are few convieniences but the host privided a simple breakfast and was very helpful indeed.
