Very helpful, kind and friendly family met us at the Maison Royale. It was our first two nights in Vietnam and we are happy that we chose this place. Good location, not far from the airport, very clean and cozy room, all the necessary amenities are provided.

Very basic room, nothing fancy, could use a small bed table light. Would be nice to have shampoo/shower gel bottles (rather than samples) in the bathroom. I could hear the neighbours in the morning, not a great sound proofing between the rooms but I guess it’s more a matter of people being respectful and talking loud at 7 in the morning than the place itself.

The owners were very nice, waited for my arrival late at night. Good value for money. Perfect if you’re looking at something close to the city centre but also a short taxi ride to/from the airport, skipping the traffic. Room was very basic (don’t except anything too modern) but probably what you could expect for such a price. There’s even a lift in the house.

The location is under 20 minutes to all major attractions. Within walking distance, there are plenty of choices of local restaurants and markets. The room is well-furnished. It's very quiet and can serve as a base for anyone needing to work during the trip. The manager/owner is very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again the next time in Ho Chi Minh city.

Maison Royale is located in a calmer back road. We had a lovely spacey room that had everything we needed. Across the road are several really good food options that make you think twice about going somewhere else. But best of all was the amazing hospitality of Dung and his family who were warm, welcoming and very helpful. They provided a really great feel-good atmosphere for our stay.

The front door is locked at midnight, although the host was happy to open the door for me when I buzzed. This wasn't an issue for me at the time but I sometimes go to the convenience store in the middle of the night which I imagine might be a bit of a hassle.

Location was in District 3 but still fairly close to District 1, about a 10-15min bike/car ride away. Room was comfortable (although bed was a little hard). Area was quiet which was good for rest. Has many eateries nearby and a convenience store. Toilet is spacious and hot water was available.

The stay has been comfortable, the room was clean. A bit noisy (which is normal in such a big city) but with earplugs I was very well. Dung is the perfect owner, very kind and helpful.

- Absolutely lovely and thoughtful owner of the hotel, who speaks English. - There is everything needed in the hotel room: kitchen tools, stove, shampoos, soap, toothbrushes and paste, slippers, and even Vietnam guides in different languages. - The room is big and bright, there is a computer desk and a dining table right in front of large windows. - The hotel is located in an authentic area, but very close to a tourist one.

Nothing bad

The hosts were very welcoming. The room was clean and the towels smelled good of fabric softener. There are many good noodle restaurants around the hotel. I would like to stay there again.

The bed was a bit hard for me, but quite good for a couple of nights anyway.

It’s not far both from the airport and the city centre. The room was clean, there was a air conditioner, a fridge and even and electric stove and a kettle. There was hot water in the shower, all in all quite a decent place.
