The staff was fabulous! Young, energetic, friendly, helpful, caring and efficient! The top floor bar and patio was a fun hang out spot in the evening. The location was right in the heart of the action. Shoe street. Close to lake. Walkable to Water Puppet Show. Rooms with balconies. Breakfast very nice. Worth every cent!

The Staff was fabulous! Friendly, curteous, helpful, did I say friendly? It was very centrally located in the old section, close to the lake and the Water Puppet Show. We enjoyed the rooftop small bar too!

We had to extend the stay for one more day and the suit was not available. They had to shift us to a smaller room on 2nd floor. It is just on the road. Too small and very noisy as windows are not sound proof. Breakfast space is too small and menu is not elaborate. They do not put name tags infront of the dishes so i was struggling to understand especially the meat options.

We took a suite which was absolutely immaculate and beautiful. Cleaniness top notch. Every staff was the kindest and most cooperative. Helen, Harry and Dung were absolutely amazing. Even in many 5 star hotels i havent seen such wonderful stuff. I would specially like to mention Selena - she is definitely an asset to the hotel. She has been contacting me 4/5 days before arrival and all the time checked if we are ok and everything is optimal. I got a little sick during the stay - such a kind heart she is checking on me and giving me suggestions. She showed many kind gestures to us with a beautiful smile on the face all the time.

The staff were so welcoming, so helpful, so considerate. After i made the booking, a staff (joy) immediately reach out to me personally to confirm my stay and ask if i have any queries. I had mentioned to them before my trip about my parents’ wedding anniversary and they were so nice to prepare the room with deco and even got us a free cake to celebrate this occasion. The level of hospitality is really world class! Thank you to all the staff for being so kind! Special shoutout to the bartender (Harry) at lux skybar for taking good care of us, preparing our drinks so skillfully and helping us to celebrate the ocassion too. You’re super awesome! Thank you very much! The view at the lux skybar is perfect too. (8th floor)

It was quite loud in the rooms because of the street noise - that's what you get when staying in central location

It was the most outstanding hotel all because of the loveliest staff. We found most locals super friendly but Nancy and her colleagues were out of this world - every time we returned to the hotel we felt like coming home to super caring family. Also, breakfast was very very good!

The hotel was in a fabulous location in Old Quarter, easy to walk to most places. Staff were so friendly and helpful that they can help arrange different activites and recommendations. Our room was comfortable and it had the best shower of our trip. Breakfast was nice and simple, enjoying this up on the terrace was a lovely way to start the day.

The staff will do everything to make sure that you are satisfied. The reception staff are amazing and speak fluent English. Also, do not waste your time looking for the paid tours in the old quarter, this hotel delivers extremely good value for money tour packages, and understands the expectations of a western tourist.

The staff were beyond incredible and the breakfast was amazing. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had an amazing time, sorting Sim cards for us, tours, and even sending us a message to check we were safe when we were late to return one night. Such a beautiful hotel and such warm, friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone :)

Nothing was needing changing, we had no problems or complaints.

Good sized room (had family room with 2 beds). Loved the colourful padded wall behind the beds. There was a small balcony with table & chair. Staff were very helpful & friendly, gave good suggestions of places to eat. They helped us out even after checking out to get a car to bring us back in traffic to collect bags & then onto the airport-greatly appreciated. Location was very central, with a short walk to the lake, many coffee shops & eateries and other places in the Old Quarter of Hanoi with a great Banh Mi shop a few doors up. Breakfast was lovely, different hot dishes daily, as well as fruit/yoghurt/salad/bread/pastries, PLUS a number of extras available to order including egg options, omelette, french toast, pho included free. Rooftop terrace was available to have breakfast on or indulge in a drink in the evenings also.

Everything was great!

We stayed here as a family for a few nights at the start of our trip and up to 6 nights at the end of our trip. The staff in this hotel were just amazing. Nancy helped us book all of our private transfers to places around Northern Vietnam and communicated regularly with us to make sure everything ran smoothly. The service we had was exceptional. All of the staff working here were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The location was great, right beside Hoan Kiem Lake and in the heart of the Old Quarter. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were a good size. I can see from previous reviews that there have been improvements on some things that were previously complained about. Overall, we would highly recommend this hotel to travellers to Ha Noi.
