We used Hanoi Media as a base camp over our weeklong stay in Hanoi and for storing our luggage when we did overnight trips to SaPa and Halong Bay. As a family, we booked the Family Suite which was a perfect size. The breakfast upstairs was wonderful and they made special Western food on request. The staff members were the best, so kind and warm hearted, we took a group picture when we left. The location is one block away from the lake, convenient to everything and very clean and detailed. We got a 10% discount in the spa which was convenient having it is the same place. We are so happy we stayed here, would happily stay again.

Could be a little noisy in rooms next to the central lightwell. I would recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. They have them available.

The staff at the Hanoi Media Hotel were exceptional. They go above and beyond to make sure that you enjoy your stay. They are super friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located in the old quarter and close to the Lake. It is on 'shoe street' so you can pick up some great bargains right outside the hotel. Breakfast and a roof top bar.

My favorite thing about this property is the staff running things. The girls are so helpful and always smiling. They are also helpful for finding good local spots for anything you could possibly want, food coffee,sightseeing. Will definetly stay here again when I come back. Also a nice sky bar is worth the visit

Hotel stands out not with the location or facilties itself but with the staff! Absolutely polite and helpful staff at the reception! We arrived late in Hanoi and therefore a late check-in (Hotel even called us to make sure everything is ok and checking if we will stay at their hotel as booked). We planned to check out very early. Breakfast starts at 6:30 that day but our driver was picking us up around 6:10 in the morning… the hotel staff (Dao) very quickly has offered to talk to the kitchen to prepare us a small take-away breakfast for the next morning. After easy and fast check-in, we went upstairs to our room. It was a spacious room (surprisingly as for the typical hotel rooms in that area, they are quite small and without windows often), clean bathroom and comfortable bed. All in all, a good option in Hanoi for a short stay!

Rooms were bit smaller and there were no windows so it’s always dark.

Excellent service. Staffs were always smiling and are ready to help you and guide you with everything you need. Always smiling, and never tired to answer all your queries. I was in touch with Selena since i did the booking, and she has been so helpful to us. I cant thank her enough for all her time and effort.

Everything was excellent.

The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the staff made a special effort as it was our anniversary. They made swans in a heart on the bed and brought us a fresh cake! The team were excellent and very friendly/helpful. We had massages so they also let us check out a little later so we had time to shower. Overall everything was 5*.

The only thing I didn't like was being sat down after the free massage in order to rate the place then and there in front of them.

This hotel is perfect. It is clean and big and the staff is very welcoming. Everybody smiles and tries to help you. The breakfast is the best we had in all of Vietnam and the rooms are spacious with everything you could wish for. We felt very happy there and almost didn't want to leave the room because it felt like home. I would highly recommend to everyone visiting Hanoi!

The air conditioning shutting off each time you left the room made it uncomfortable for some time upon returning.

An excellent central location to so many must see places. The breakfast was delicious and many choices were offered.

Breakfast was really nice, could choose from a buffet or they had a menu order. The balcony was a nice place to have a drink and the rooms are nothing fancy but very clean and beds very comfortable. Staff was very accommodating and helped us book a fantastic food tour and water puppet show! Would recommend!

Very good location: close to walking street with lots of shops and restaurants. The lake, the famous "Note Coffee" and the water puppet theater are nearby. The staff were very helpful and friendly (special thanks to Ms. Selena and all the reception team who arranged the Halong Bay drop and airport pickup). Very nice and clean rooms, well decorated.
