I cannot think of anything I could imagine to be better. I will definitely stay here again

This is a beautiful property! The staff is very attentive, wanting you to experience their exceptional service. Like magic! I enjoyed several meals in the restaurant and rooftop. Food was delicious, served to temperature and beautiful as well. Wine by the glass offered a nice selection, only 2 choices but well thought out. Everyone at the reception area was insightful and so pleasant. Ms Mai in housekeeping was extra helpful. A bellman, who's name I didn't get, understood my packing needs and brought me the necessary materials. Packing tape, scissors and some plastic to secure some checked baggage.

The room we booked had an internal window which we didn't realise was a window into the main internal corridor.

Generally very good, nice skybar. We couldn't use the swimming pool because of the weather but it looked great.

The view of the room is just a wall but we understad that hotels in old quarter are like this due to the space and antique buldings therefore it is fine, so no worries about it

The toiletries weren't refilled when we checked in but it was later sorted quickly.

The location, staff and ambiance was amazing. The bed was superb. We have not slept this well in a long time and we got the quiet wing.

We really enjoyed staying at the Meritel Hanoi. The team (e.g. Alex and Uyen) is extraordinary friendly. The rooms were clean and cosy. And the breakfast includes both Asían and European cuisine. Last, the location is perfect to explore Hanoi.

Excellent hotel! Perfect location! Lovely food! Alex and the staff were amazing, really friendly and helped us with everything we needed. The rooftop pool was a personal highlight too. I’d highly recommend staying here when we come back for sure 10/10

The hotel is adequately staffed, so that every aspects of the stay is well taken care of. They even take the extra mile to escort you across the busy street full of motorbikes. Amazing job! And they are highly helpful in recommending places of interests or good F&B choices.

Extremely well located in the old quarter. Amazing service, beautiful rooms, wonderful breakfast. Also has a rooftop bar great for unwinding after exploring. Most of all, the people working there go above and beyond in helping with everything ensuring a worry free stay. Special mention to Will (Gia Huy) who took such good care of us it was almost like visiting friends.

I can’t think of anything.

This hotel is in a great location in the Old Quarter. This was our second visit and the staff welcomed us back. Our room 510 - was at the back of the hotel so was very quiet even though this is the noisiest part of Hanoi. The breakfast is good. The sky bar has great views and friendly staff. Overall the staff are great - happy to look after luggage, give recommendations for restaurants, book transfers to the airport etc.

the location was great for being in the old town. Easy access to many restaurants and bars and just around the corner from Train street. The hotel staff were first class. Breakfast was good with fresh made-to-order eggs or omelletes or Pho together with usual buffet breakfast. Comfortable and spacious clean room and facilities - thank you

We loved everything about our stay, especially the staff, who were all excellent. Mike was our main point of contact and he was always easy to contact via WhatsApp. The breakfast and the lunch and dinner options were also excellent. We also enjoyed the happy hour discount for cocktails (which tasted great!). We also really valued the location of Meritel, as we could walk into the centre of the old town easily and there were plenty of shops and places to eat nearby.

Meritel is a wonderful hotel with a great location in the Hoan Kiem district, within walking distance of the lake. The rooms are beautifully furnished (even if the style may seem a little over the top to some) and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the rooftop bar, which had excellent cocktails. In particular, Ryan is a genius mixologist, and guests should try his invention, the Old Quarter! A point to pay attention to is that, if you book connecting rooms as we did, one room will always be facing the street, which leads to a bit of street noise, but we found it to be quite tolerable. The advantage is you then have a view into the street. Other rooms which don't face the street only have windows into airwells.
