Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed in Vietnam so far! The room was modern, clean and comfortable. There was a fridge, nice view out onto the river, and the shower was contained rather than a wet room like most bathrooms in Vietnam. Breakfast had lots of good options. Location is good if you want to see the dragon bridge at night, the area gets really lively around that time! Taxis are cheap and easily available if you want to explore the other side of the river or go to the marble mountains. Staff looked after our luggage after we checked out while we waited for our bus in the evening.

The location is very close to Dragon bridge, many restaurants and shops around. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and work 24/7. The cleaned the room every day. Everyone could speak English well.

Only stayed the one night and left at 10am the next morning but were disappointed as at check in we were told breakfast stopped serving at 9am. That’s too early to stop the breakfasts. Other than that a good hotel.
