We made a last minute booking and the staff arranged to let us in at 5am the day before out cruise from Ha Long Bay, when we arrived the staff were so friendly and attentive (they did not speak English but used google translate), we were able to take a short walk for breakfast and then get a quick taxi to our boat in the morning. The room was extremely clean and easily the best shower we have had in our 2 months in Asia !

The location, while close to the harbour, is quite far from daily needs. It is convenient if you are arriving the previous night for a cruise, but for a stay after one you might want to move into the city.

It was great for it's location and price. Surrounding area was pleasant to roam around both during night and daytime. The hosts were accommodating of my needs.

There is not too much open in the area, so restaurants and things to do are limited.

The owners have been so kind. They waited until late for my late check in, they helped me booked a cruise and have always been available in case I needed something. Very good location, close to the port. The room was perfectly clean and very comfortable. My schedule was very tight but thanks to the owners, everything went very smoothly

As we travelled during low season, there were not many options for dinner in the evening around the area.

The host couple were very helpful and genuine in helping our requests. They were flexible to accommodate our request on the room. They also helped to organise day cruise trip with competitive price and good service. We enjoyed our cruise around Ha Long Bay and the activities (exploring cave, kayak, tiptop island).

Perfect location, very central.. Very clean and tidy with comfortable bed. The owners are wonderful people. Very friendly and always ready to help. Offered me tea and fruits Too bad I couldn't spend much time with them because of the language barrier. Using a translator doesn't help very much.
