Room was extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room is quiet! The hotel owner is very nice and friendly. His name is Quang. He asks what you need and can he help you? I booked his tour to visit Phong Nha cave and Paradise cave. After the trip ended, he still asked me if I enjoyed the trip or not? I really appreciate his attention and behind the scenes. The next day, he called me early for a taxi early in the morning to catch my train. Thank you Quang very much!

The Minh Quang Hotel is located in a quiet, walkable neighborhood. Really loved seeing the neighborhood come to life around 4:00PM as children got out of school and restaurants and sidewalk vendors filled up. In addition to the friendly and helpful man at the front desk, we were welcomed by children in the street and a group of older guests at the hotel. Really fun for Americans on their first visit to Vietnam. Our room was as pictured and clean.

Very friendly and considerate staff, very good english skills, one of the cleanest spaces during our Vietnam trip. The location is great, very close to the water and good cafes and restaurants around. Would recommend 10/10

That I couldn’t stay another week!

Mr Quang is the tireless host. Speaks English. He helped me with a rental bike, and booking transportation with a cheerful attitude. He sleeps behind the reception desk and wakes up to help guests with early morning connections. He messaged me to check that I reached Hue safely. I am recommending everyone stay here. The room is clean, and he even apologized that I had a windowless room the first evening because all upper floors were booked. Moved me to an airy room for the 2nd night and it was perfect.

Minh Quang was a great hotel in a really nice part of town. Our host offered to collect us from the station (and drive us back quite early one morning) for a very reasonable price which meant we had no concerns about finding the hotel. The room was huge with two double beds, lots of space for storage and a big bathroom. We had a fridge too which is always handy and a very reasonable laundry service. We were on the 7th floor (and there was a super speedy lift) which offered us a great view of the city even though it was a bit misty. The location was away from the busy part of the city (but close enough to walk) and quite near the river with lots of cafes in easy reach (Tree Hugger is a must). Our host was always on hand to help us with any queries and had great English, he also recommended some cave trips and other sights too.

Quang, the man at the desk, made my stay in the city worthwhile!! He sent me to all the best restaurants for Vietnamese food! I had special requests and he happily did all. Even went to store and bought me a corkscrew. Arranged cave tour, bus ticket and drove me to station in morning. The hotel is in a non-touristy neighborhood. Good walking, felt very safe. Two minutes walk to a riverside park for strolling. Adam and Eva’s for live Vietnamese music F/S/S. Everything needed close by. Room and bathroom large and all comfortable and clean. Quiet. Lots of counters. On 7th floor, windows on three sides.

Quang was particularly helpful in arranging both a tour for me that I specifically wanted to do and in securing me a train ticket as travel space was hard to come by due to Tet.

Everything was good.

Good location.Very spacious room, with lots of natural light and very nice views. Very comfortable beds and good water pressure in the shower. The staff was very helpful. Minh Quang's English is excellent and he was willing to help with bookings of tours and train/bus tickets, which was great. He's very sociable so he also answered all my questions about the Chinese New Year and other doubts I had.It was a very pleasant stay.

So comfortable, the beds are amazing, the staff were so lovely and made sure we had everything we need. Even stayed and waited for us after our plane was delayed by 5 hours. Shower was great all facilities clean and worked well

This was an incredible spot. We did not have very high expectations as it was a very affordable option, the hotel was lovely. Very clean, comfortable bed, spacious room, the hotel was very close to the beach and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly, I would highly recommend this place.

Very nice hotel to stay in for your visit in Dong Hoi, i was sick before arriving and without any hesitation, worked er me on rescheduling my stay there really appreciated that, Very comfy mattress best i had so far in south east Asia and the location is perfect with plenty of little restaurant around Would come back here in the futur for sure

I had a great stay and I highly recommend this place! The rooms were very comfortable and well supplied + the internet was fast. The staff went out of their way to help us with anything we needed, including renting a scooter.

The rooms were very clean, great views, and the owner was great. Quang picked us up at the train station and dropped us off at the airport for a very reasonable price as well as taking us to a couple caves.

Clean and spacious room with marvelous views over the estuary. The location is excellent - off the main street but with a good selection of restaurants close to hand, 20 minutes walk along the river side to the centre.The manager, Mr Quang, is very helpful and has some very good suggestions for places to try the local specialities.
