I arrived in the middle of the night from Can Tho, but this was not a problem at all. Via whatsapp Van send me all the information I needed. They have great advice on what tours to do or how to get around in Da Lat. Van also arranged my bus to go to Hoi An. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is free bananas and coffee. The breakfast is very nice too! Thank you so much for having me.

What’s there not to like! Van and her family run an incredible hostel that feels like home. You will be taken care of the moment you step through the door. Upon arrival, Van immediately made sure I was set with food and the basics. She had a wealth of recs for activities and food, and was often available to just chat. It’s incredibly easy to sign up for activities or book onward transit through them. The entire family is so lovely, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I met lovely folks here and would gladly have stayed longer if I wasn’t on a tighter schedule!

The locker under the bunk doesn't actually lock at all. The ladder to climb to the top bunk is uncomfortable. Also a bit away from the center of Da Lat.

Absolutely amazing staff, clean, and the hostel even provided slippers for people that needed them. Nice rooftop BBQ, and good breakfast choices. Spacious rooms in the dorms. Good social atmosphere and good way to meet others.

I absolutely LOVED this hostel - it's one of these places that felt like home. It was quiet yet very social due to a big common area with cozy chairs to hang out. Also don't miss the barbecues they do every other day on the rooftop, absolutely delicious and a nice way to connect with others. The dorms were spacious and light, the beds really comfortable. The hostel had a scooter rental as well and when I checked in I got loads of recommendations what to do, where to eat etc The owner Van was the loveliest person ever and definitely a reason why this hostel had such good vibes. I booked my transfer to the next city with her as well and everything worked out perfectly. Long story short, I absolutely recommend this place! Also you won't find the young party ppl in their very early twenties here, what I really appreciated.

I had the most incredible stay at Mooka’s Home in Dalat! The facilities were very clean and the BBQ dinner was a great way to meet other travelers. Most importantly, the service was the best I’ve had on my travels. From helping book a tour, to arranging my transportation, to remembering everyone’s breakfast orders, the hospitality was amazing! I would highly recommend staying at Mooka’s.

Stayed in a private room as a couple. This is a great hostel run by lovely people. The staff organises a BBQ on the rooftop every other day which is not only really nice but also a great way to meet with other travellers. Did some washing there which was really good. Would stay there again if we return to dalat.

The BBQ every other day is excellent. As a solo traveller it allowed me to meet people I wouldn’t normally have. The staff are excellent, remembering you by name and can recommend anything you need help on. I needed a phone charger and they pointed me in the perfect location. I also booked the canyoning with Mooka’s which was the highlight of DaLat.

Amazing hostel. It is so comfortable and cozy. The downstairs social area has the most comfortable chairs and beanbags to hang out in. There is a cute dog that loves attention. The hostel has a nice homey social atmosphere. They do a BBQ dinner which is amazing (the food is incredible) and a great way to meet people. They are able to organise all sorts of activities, scooter hire, transport. The breakfast is great. And the family running the hostel is so sweet, friendly, and helpful.

The most loveliest host. Honestly the best hostel we’ve stayed at since traveling around SE Asia! Our bus got cancelled twice on our way and Van was so accommodating she even pushed out our stay for us as well as tried to organise another bus through WhatsApp for us before we even checked in. I would highly recommend for your stay in Dalat. The BBQ at the hostel was a highlight and it’s a short walk to everything in the centre!

There was onpy one shower and one toilet for 10 people in the room.

Very comfortable bed, spacious room and very friendly staff - the friendliest during my 3-weeks traveling in Vietnam. You can rent a scooter, which is helpful for getting around. The also offer several options for breakfast and they helped me to book the bus to continue further on my trip. I definitely recommend the place - a super cute dog will also keep you company in the common area :)

Dorms were clean and peaceful so easy to catch up on sleep, staff were so lovely and happy to help with any queries or just up for a chat! They also let me check in a bit early as had arrived on a night sleeper bus so was happy to get into bed early for a nap! Nice relaxed social vibe too and only a short walk from the centre of town. Glad I stayed here :)

Can’t fault this place at all! Spotless, huge rooms and the loveliest owner! I got food poisoning (not from the hostel) and she took so much care of me, she was so sweet! I can’t thank her enough! Good breakfast and lovely lounge and rooftop areas!

BBQ - very much appreciate the vegetarian and vegan options, however, *warning to vegans or those with allergies*: with the sign bup I wrote down my milk allergy and specified vegan. The host initially said I could eat the mash potatoes, and when I checked again she said the potatoes did have milk, but "only a little, so it's okay", and that she "fed someone with a milk allergy the granola that has a little milk and they were fine, so thought it would be okay". I get that there's a cultural context here with allergies being less prominent in Vietnam, but I encourage the host to take this more seriously! To those with restrictions, make sure you're triple checking at mealtime

Impeccably run hostel! Would stay here again. Lovely and friendly host. Abundant information and facilitation for adventures, tours, transportation. Bunk bed rooms are quiet, spacious, sunny, and very clean. Bunks are sturdy, with no squeaking or movement. Beds and bedding were comfy. I appreciated the giant lockers under the bunks for big bags (though lock was not super effective) and the smaller lock box within the bunk (better lock) with light switch and outlet. Bathroom cleaned regularly. Nice communal areas for meals and opportunities to be social, but not a party vibe. Coffee (instant with milk and sugar), tea, and bananas free and always available. BBQ (~100k) offered every other night on the rooftop is a nice way to meet people, with loads of vegetarian/vegan options (though see warning below)
