Absolutely wonderful hotel in a prime location in Sapa. I arrived in dire need of sleep at around 6am, and my room wasn’t ready. The owner of the hotel, Mr Kim, graciously offered me a free upgrade to a massive family room that was available. Nothing was too much trouble for him, including giving me a farewell banh mi sandwich upon my departure. A special shout out to Mia, his right hand woman at the front desk. She would always ask me about my day, and loved looking at my pictures. Just a lovely vibe at this place that was professionally run by a team that showed a whole lot of warmth, kindness and care! Would stay again.

Convenient location close to the lake, restaurants, and shopping. Very helpful desk staff re: restaurant and coffee place recommendations. Delicious breakfast buffet with a la carte options. Menu of half-day and full-day treks or tours - easy to book.

Excellent service by Kim and Mia. We arrived at 7:00AM by night bus and they checked us in directly with access to our room as hotel was not full on the previous night. They also kept our luggage during our 2 days trek, allowed us to have a shower when we came to pick up our bags after the trek, and gave us sandwiches at departure as we were leaving by bus to Hanoi. Room/bed was very comfortable, good shower. Good breakfast with a mix of local and occidental options.

It was a cozy retreat conveniently located near the city center in the Mountain Queen Hotel in Sapa One of the standout features of this hotel is its excellent communication with the hotel manager. From the moment of booking to our departure, the manager ensured that our needs were met promptly and efficiently, adding a personal touch to our experience. The beds at Mountain Queen Hotel were comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings of Sapa. While the overall experience was positive, it's worth noting that the bathroom was on the smaller side. However, it was clean and well-maintained, so it didn't significantly detract from our stay. The breakfast provided at the hotel was sufficient, offering a variety of options to start the day off right. One minor drawback of the hotel is that due to its proximity to a school, guests may occasionally hear children in the morning and during the day. However, this was not a major issue and did not significantly impact our overall enjoyment of the stay. In summary, Mountain Queen Hotel offers a cozy and comfortable retreat in the heart of Sapa. With its attentive management, comfortable beds and convenient location, it provides a solid base for exploring the beauty of the region.

Reception was very friendly, room ready prior to check-in time, and management ready to organize excursions as well as immediately make its clients feel at home. Actually this hotel is like a home. It is traditional, comfortable and very well located in a central and yet calm street with lake view. Breakfast is very good with a variety of fruits, and fare that Europeans go for. And above all Mountain Queen house is reasonably priced. What else?

Extremly friendly and helpful staff. They recommend good places to go, help organise tours or drivers, even on short notice, and can book tickets for Fansipan. The Location is great. Really close to the center but very quiet. Delicious breakfast as well. On the last day my bus was leaving in the evening. They kept my luggage while I was out exploring Sapa and even offered me a shower when I came back in the afternoon. And they even made me a sandwich for the journey.

Everything was great. The service of the staff was amazing. From the moment we arrived, they had everything prepared for us and the check in was simple and quick. During the breakfast, I asked for soy milk and they were kind enough to bring it for me. Mr. Kim made our stay awesome and easy, he organized our trip back to hanoi and helped us with recommendations about what to do and how. They helped us on all the arrangements and they even offer to move the breakfast time to suit out schedule. 10/10 really.

Everything about our stay was fantastic. Arriving early in the morning on the train from Hanoi, we were able to leave our luggage and then given an early check-in. Breakfast was great with a wide selection of fresh food, something to suit everyone's taste. Location is perfect for exploring Sapa. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

No downsides! The hotel was so accommodating to us, so there were no downsides at all. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The hotel staff (especially the hotelmanager) took such good care of us. They book activities and transport for you as needed (with no extra cost!) and give you all the useful info (like the cheap supermarket and all atm spots!).

Everything was perfect

A wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel with a fantastic location a couple of minutes walk to the center. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, with a lovely balcony overlooking the lake and mountains .The breakfast sittiig out on the terrace, was the best we've had in any hotel and would definitely recommend the banana pancakes! Mr Kim the manager and his staff could not have done more to make us feel welcome and helped to make our stay such an enjoyable experience !

Absolutely nothing

The location was superb and the best part about this hotel was a homely feeling created by the staff Mr Kim and the lovely lady. We arrived rather late around 10 pm and was greeted with a hot cup of cinnamon tea and when we left after staying fr 2 nights they packed us a sandwich, the small details they took to make you feel special. The breakfast was really good too and the cleanliness was good
