How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Great place to stay to explore Sapa. Staff were so helpful with anything we needed (transport onwards/ activities/ laundry). Definitely recommend!

Nothing, it was all exceptional
10/10 start to finish I would highly recommend this to people travelling to Sapa. The staff are some of the nicest we’ve come across, very helpful they even gave us some free pastery/water/fruit for our long journey back to Hanoi. The room was exceptional and very clean, bed was super comfy!. It’s ideally located and you can rent a motorcycle from the hotel aswell as get laundry done (they even asked us what temperature we wanted out laundry doing to avoid any shrinkage which is common when places do laundry). Very impressed would 100% go back.

Everything was excellent.
Staff were friendly and very efficient. The room and the view were above expectations. We were given a mountain view room in their sister hotel....My Gallery, as an upgrade. Very good experience overall.

Incredibly comfortable bed in a really nice room. I didn't get the name of the woman working at reception but she was amazing. She kept checking in on us after my partner was sick and when we were running late for our bus on the last morning she handled everything, organized the taxi for us and had us out as quick as she could, even giving us water bottles for the bus. Great hotel with wonderful staff, would really recommend.

A little pricey compared to other hotels in Vietnam however reasonably priced compared to other hotels in Sa Pa
The staff were amazing, really helpful and polite! The location was amazing just 5 mine away from a great pub and 10 mins away from the center of town. The facilities were completely clean and there was complimentary tea coffee and water available. Beds were very comfy especially compared to other hotels I went to in Vietnam. Breakfast was incredible it was buffet style service and a free option off the large breakfast menu as well included. 10/10 definitely recommend for a stay in sa pa

Noise outside was annoying with the beeping but hey it’s Vietnam, everywhere you go you can hear beeping.

This hotel was very comfortable. The staff was incredible. I especially have to say that Ruby and Autumn were amazing and so extremely helpful at every step. We decided to extend our stay in SaPa because we enjoyed it so much. The Spa services were great, and the breakfast at the hotel is delicious. I will definitely stay here again if I go back to SaPa.

Beautiful location! Looking out onto the mountains, short scenic walk to the town centre. The staff were lovely, funny and attentive. Breakfast has something for everyone, the French toast is delicious. The rooms were gorgeous and the beds very comfortable. All in all great value for money, had a lovely time there.

The hotel is very nice located, but personally I would rather it to be closer to the lake.

Room was small and no view
Amazing service. The staff knew me by name and acted as my personal travel agent and attended to my every need. The service was far beyond that I expected. Good breakfast too.

From the moment we arrived Autumn and Ruby greeted us warmly. They went above and beyond each and every day make us feel welcome and assist us in any way possible. This establishment is exceptional and that is because of the two of them. We will definitely return to see their smiling faces.

I think it is better to have the breakfast included, just charge the room a bit more. Not an inconvenience for us though, just a suggestion
We stayed a full week at this hotel. The staff was so friendly and attentive, welcoming us every day like they were family. Mi and Hien were so sweet, when we left by sleeper bus they handed us a package with water fruit and some food for the road. Just like family. They also spoke good English

Everything was perfect and according to the pricem They gave us a free upgrade, they keptnour luggage while we took a 4days trek and when we were heading for the trek they gave as a little bit of food for our journey! Thank you son much we enjoyed a lot our staying with you!

Can’t fault the property. We loved it
The staff were absolutely amazing. Autumn and her colleagues went above and beyond to help us. The hotel is great - has everything you need and breakfast very reasonably priced. The hotel is a short walk (5 minutes) into the centre and has some incredible views on the doorstep!

Nothing. It would be nice to have a fitness center, but not a necessity!
It was conveniently located. The room was large and comfortable. There was good natural lighting. The shower had good temperature and pressure.
