location is a bit odd, but once you’re used to it, it’s quite okay. the bathrooms could need some renovations, and it would be nice to be able to get in on your own without waking up someone during the night and evening to get them to unlock the entrance gate. the owner seemed a little disorganised with my booking. she kept thinking I was staying only one night, but very obviously on my booking.com I had booked two nights, which I told her - but she still changed the booking to one night on the booking.com app after I checked out ? which is weird because I paid cash for two nights and I did spend time in my bed for the second night ? not a problem, it was just weird, but the owner was lovely and nice. just a little confusing.

Hosts are super nice, dorms and beds are comfy, and the location is good, next to the river, with a nice view from the top floor. I had a good sleep because the AC was strong. Great value!

The villa is absolutely gorgeous, a bit tucked away from the city but not too far that it’s a problem. Like 10 minutes walk to the main area with a lovely top floor view of the perfume river. Room was nice and clean, plenty of bathrooms, air conditioning worked great. Most of all, the family who run this place are wonderful. I wish I had spent more than one night here! They will constantly bring you food and coffee without you even asking, and even let me sit down with them for family lunch without asking me to pay a cent. They can also help book tours/transfers and the prices were very good - better than other hostels in the city. If you are vegan/veg, the wife and her mother are both vegan and so can provide/help find veg food in the city. Overall just a wonderful place to stay!

I slept in a 4beds dormitory, room was quite small but OK for a couple of nights. The position is perfect since you re really close to the busy area but not in the middle of it. Free coffee and banana all day! Bike and motorbike rental+bus ticket/tour service. The rooftop is just a perfect place to chill doing journaling or yoga!!!!!!!! The couple running the place IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! they re kind, very helpful and very honest! I had a problem with my mobile and with money and they helped me fixing everything! Very kind souls!

Staff: Very friendly and helpful owners. Location: Close to City, just over the bridge but quiet. Common area: every level had some balcony to chill. And meet people on roof of ground floor. Room: clean, didn't have big window but the one in bath gives enough fresh air, and quieter this way too. Fridge and kettle in room. Comfortable bed. Free coffee and bananas, breakfast can also be bought. Free water refill. Good pho place very close. Can book tours or transport. Stayed 3 nights in the end.

Such kind and helpful hosts - always very smiley. Free bananas and coffee/tea. Our a/c stopped working and so the woman allowed us to change rooms, which was actually an upgrade, at no extra cost. Very comfortable.

The family who owned the homestay made you feel like part of the family. Was very interested in your plans. Offered free coffee and fruit every morning and was also sociable with having a beer on the night. Had an issue with the shower which was fixed within 20 minutes. Even asked for assistance with sewing an item of clothing, a sewing kit was provided immediately. We paid for the most basic room however the room itself was a good size and very clean. Roof terrace was a bonus for a nightly drink (of which the homestay provides cheap beer). 100% recommend this lovely homestay! Home from home. One of the best homestays we have stayed in in Vietnam.

It’s a family business, they love what they are doing and they are very helpful. They always offer you coffee, tea and bananas, they have options for breakfast in very decent prices, they helped me book my bus to Ninh binh and they also invite me to have dinner with me as long as I was waiting for the bus ! Highly recommended!!
