Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Hong KongThere were a few issues with the room. I had problems sleeping as, although there are black-out curtains, the first night the lighting behind the headboard of the bed wouldn't go out completely - I had to cover it up - and the air conditioning control is so bright it's like having a light on in the room. The splendid Min had these problems dealt with immediately I reported them, but it's a head-scratcher why those lights would be on to begin with. Bathroom appliances all work well, but having only one side of the shower screened off means you end up with water all over the floor(:. I found the bed very comfortable, however the king bed does consist of twin beds pushed together, so if you wanted to sleep in the middle you'd find yourself lying on a gap. Mostly the room was very quiet, but if you have noisy neighbours you will hear them. One disappointment was the Vietnamese food at the Hay Hay restaurant - I remembered this as being very good, but the one dinner I had there wasn't great, even though the staff kindly had my rolls re-wrapped in rice paper instead of the thick rice pancake they originally came in - again, the service stands out as particularly good - and I did wonder if dishes were made less authentic for foreign visitors. The Vietnamese dishes at the barbecue night were much better.
I last stayed at the Naman in 2016. It has expanded a bit since then and had the same good points I remember. The service was excellent - a big shout-out to 'ambassador' Min, who did a wonderful job of staying in touch and making sure I had everything I needed via WhatsApp. Not all the staff speak fluent English but in my experience they were all consistently friendly, smiling and polite. The 1 bedroom Sunlit Suite I stayed in was roomy and comfortable apart from a few minor glitches mentioned in the 'didn't like' section, there's a reasonable sized fridge (no ice compartment, though) and a good range of international TV channels if you want to laze in the room and watch one of the two flat screen TVs. There's a nice pool right next to the building which I preferred to the infinity pool by the beach - better for swimming, the other one is nice if you want to hang out, socialize, enjoy the pool bar, etc. There's also a third big pool, very shallow, which is good if you have small kids. The beach is really beautiful and the whole resort has nice landscaping with lovely trees, shrubs and flowers. Everywhere very clean. Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of choice, Western and Asian. I also recommend the Wednesday and Saturday barbecue buffet at B-Lounge by the beach, again lots of choice and quality is good. While prices may be high by local standards (you can certainly eat more cheaply if you go into Da Nang or Hoi An, but then you'll have to pay for taxi or Grab), they are extremely reasonable compared to Hong Kong, where I live, so personally I wasn't bothered by that.

United KingdomWe had booked a 2 suite apartment, when we arrived at the room it was much smaller than we anticipated. We ended up paying the extra upgrade price to move one of the villas. Just bare in mind if you are booking the 2 bedroom apartment don't take too much luggage as there is little space for luggage.
When we moved to the villa the room was amazing. Very spacious and having our private pool was perfect. The staff at the pool where amazing and very helpful. Breakfast was great. The beach was very relaxing.

Staff from gardeners, waiters, cleaners always smiling , friendly. Absolutely exceptional care of our personal ambassador / from guest relations / -p. Min made our stay quite exceptional
Breakfast offered a wide choice of western and Asian cuisine, sufficient choice always filling in missing dishes perfect morning pho soup, perhaps I missed the occasional sliced smoked fish?? But I was happy to enjoy other Asian dishes or fruits

LithuaniaThe view from the main hotel building rooms is really bad, we had sea view room, but mainly you see new construction works, dusty villas roofs and in the end the sea... Far from the main attractions, you'll need taxi or a car.
Very nice beach and swimming pool area. Good and tasty breakfast. Nice private beach.

VietnamThe spa. It was dark and uninviting inside the sauna/jacuzzi area. The steam sauna was cold. The jacuzzi not on. It was too dark to see how to turn on the jacuzzi. I had to hunt around to find a robe and go outside to the reception area to find someone to assist with this. The actual massage (included) was one of the worst hotel massages I have received. It was not 'relaxing' as advertised. It felt rushed and even though I specified which area to focus on, that request was ignored and I was given a 'standard' factory massage. My husband told me his male masseuse had callused hands and requested a female for our second treatment. The next day, the massage itself was better, but the process again was robotic and not personalized. Again, the exact same massage, even though I specified which area to focus on, which was ignored. They didn't even offer us the disposable underwear as in the day before. No tea afterwards either.
Room was nice, as expected. Resort staff were outstanding, very friendly and helpful. Guests are assigned an ambassador who checks in with you often to assist you with whatever you might need.

SingaporeThe gym is functional but needs maintenance.. some parts were rusty. The spa facility also in dire need of repairs. I did not dare to use their onsen / steam room/ Sauna. The gift shop looks tired. The stuff they sell are uninspired. Western food was average. But would I go back? Yes!
I love the duplex concept - the entire floor is a room! the views for the first floor (pool) and second floor (bamboo) was so relaxing and peaceful. My parents and I had good conversations and happy memories in the duplex. We enjoyed the massages - long rhythmic strokes - and a pleasant team!! The Vietnamese food and morning buffet was delicious. The staff very helpful, friendly and approachable. In the night, there were frogs croaking - I find it relaxing - can’t hear it from the room, unless you open the sliding door.

Hong KongThe level of cleanliness is poor. We stayed in C3 in a 3 bedroom villa. The ground floor bedroom had cockroaches on the floor besides the bed. There were 4 to 5 live and dead cockroaches. I called for housekeeping, they came but when I returned to the bedroom, there were still cockroaches. This is not worth the price we paid for and the standard of a 5 star resort with 4-5 cockroaches. Please do a thorough clean up and pest control of all the villas and bedrooms in this resort.
The beach and pool is very nice. Very private beach.

Hong KongWe noted 4 to 5 cockroaches on the ground floor bedroom of our 3 bedroom villa. We were staying in C03. Obviously, the rooms were not cleaned properly. Hence it was not a good experience for us as there were live and dead cockroaches on the ground floor bedroom. I called for housekeeping to clean the room, however, when we came back to the villa, we still see cockroaches on the ground floor bedroom.
The pool and beach was very beautiful. The breakfast was good.
