Bathroom needs upgrading. Shower in bath with no grab rail and old plastic curtain. Curved bath means shower water goes down back causing mould smells. 2km from tourist jetty where floating market boats leave, not a problem as Grab taxis ok.

Located right on the main river with no passing traffic. Lovely shady terrace with pool and coffee shop on river front for guests. Our room was on 5th floor with great river view. Large and clean. Big comfortable bed. Excellent buffet breakfast, western and Asian.

Having said the above there were several issues. Firstly the pool was supposed to be open from 7.00am to 5.00pm. This is an early close anyway, an issue in itself. In reality, it was not even open until 5. While I was there, there was a pool-side party on most evenings. It was Tet. So there were people working to set up stages and balloons and other items most afternoons, making pool use almost impossible. None of the parties were actually using the pool. They were just obstructing its use by others. Secondly, the noise level of all of the parties was quite literally deafening and completely intrusive. My complaint about the noise level was addressed immediately, but by moving me to the second lesser but definitely quieter room, rather than by modifying the noise, which would have been more appropriate. Thirdly I asked for a knife to cut some fruit. I was told I couldn't have it because it was dangerous and against policy. I'm a 70 year old grandmother - I think I can cut fruit without killing myself and I resent being treated like a child. I did get the knife and survived. Finally the bath was not secured and was unstable. Maybe not a usual issue but I had to get in and out of the bath to shower which, given my age, did make me feel unsafe. Interesting given the knife thing.

I did enjoy my 5 day stay at Nesta for the most part. My first room was very good: spacious, clean and comfortable. My second room was unfortunately much less spacious but still clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and very friendly. The pool was much appreciated when it could be used. Further and later in my stay, I did receive a complementary plate of fruit to compensate for a couple of issues. It was lovely and appreciated. Personally I liked the location but some might find it a bit far from the action.

The service was awful apart from one member of staff. Even at check in the staff could give us no recommendations of places to see and go, we had to ask for a map and even then they didn't really know where to suggest. We found out for ourselves that there is a definite area with a lovely bridge and restaurants that most tourists head to. The bar had alcohol that they wouldn't serve to us and could give us no reason why not. We were the only people using the pool yet none of the staff even acknowledged we were there. There was a sign saying to shower before you got in the pool but there were no showers. Or lifeguard for that matter. The breakfast was just ok, however the tables weren't cleared enough between guests often resulting in having to clear a table for yourself. This despite the fact that there were plenty staff around. The room was basic, we had to swap our initial room as the mattress was so lumpy you could feel the springs and there were only two sockets. The second room was better but we were given just one toilet roll and one each of very small shampoo and shower gel for a 4 night stay. The hotel seems to prefer corporate guests and weddings and we felt really unwelcome and in fact, at times, like we were in the way.

We had 3 nights there out of the 3 2nnights were a wedding... Right under our windows... Basically we were in party... Till 10pm was noise and lights on. The manager was outstanding!As soon as she heard our complian she came around due to our inconvenience she offered us free ride to the airport. We are very satisfied with the service.

The room was very big and spacious. We had a junior siut, with 6 windows, double bathroom viewing to the pool.

I was told that I couldn't use the pool or restaurant after 4pm at check in due to a wedding being held down stairs, they also informed me that the room that I was to be given was two single beds, which ended up being ok but this room was booked as a double for about a month out, I feel that this should have been communicated before checkin.

I looked at this hotel as I was running the Can Tho 1/2 marathon and the location was almost at the starting line, which was why I booked it.

Rooms were filled with mold! Specially the bathroom (without a showercourtin) and you could notice it by the smell. Wallpaper was in many places flaking off. Also, the breakfast wasn't ready at the opening time (bc we wanted to go away from the place as soon as possible)
