Nothing. Some say that the swimming pool is out of place, but it doesn't bother me at all. Everything is good here.

I like that they have a soundproof room. As someone who is sensitive to noise, I slept soundly without worry. I had a peaceful and restful night. They also have a friendly receptionist who is very attentive and helpful to every guest. I appreciate that.

My recent stay at The New World Hostel was totally satisfied. The hostel offers an incredible experience for travelers. The vibrant and cozy ambiance, combined with attentive staff, created a welcoming atmosphere. The dorms were clean, and the common areas provided a perfect space to connect with fellow travelers. They do even provide break fast which was delicious and simple. There was a small swimming pool also.The hostel location convenient to the walking street.

Such a lovely hostel in Hue! It’s a family running hostel that will treat you as theirs. If you are doing Hai Van Pass tour book it with them it’s the best! Also I would like to thank Trucly for helping me to get my credit card back that I forgot at the ATM! You are the best! 🫶🏼

It doesn’t seem like the pool would ever be used due to its awkward placement.

Breakfast was a bit small. The room lacked a garbage bin and more power outlets.

We booked a private room for 2 and got transferred into Sun Hotel across the street. The room was spacious and comfortable, with two outside windows. We had breakfast at New World Hostel. The food was good. The location is excellent, close to the fun walking streets, but in a quiet and peaceful lane. The staff helped us arrange a DMZ tour with a transfer to an overnight bus to Ninh Binh. Due to bus delays, things got complicated, but Trucly supported us throughout the process and made sure everything worked out.

The room was small but very comfortable and cute! The woman on the reception, and every other staff was so so friendly. Gives you all the information about Hue and looks after you. I would definitely come again!

It has a pool but weird location so wouldn’t use!

Staff were so welcoming and went above and beyond for our stay. Beds were comfortable and nice warm showers. Staff helped organise our easy rider and hai van pass to hoi an from the hotel.

Only small thing was the room was really warm, even with the air con on, as our beds were shielded from the breeze, but there was a fan which we plugged in at the bottom of the bed to help a bit.

Staff were fantastic, really helpful with booking a DMZ tour and onward travel, as well as renting a scooter and helping with suggestions for our time there. The dorm was clean and tidy, beds were comfortable and had a curtain for privacy, and lockers were big enough to fit everything in. Breakfast in the morning was great, and as we left early on our last day, they got up and made sure we were fed and gave us bananas to take with us.

I LOVED THIS HOTEL. My favourite from my entire trip in Vietnam. The staff are so so kind and friendly. I arrived from a night train and they made me feel so comfortable until I could check in. The breakfast was great and they accomodated my dietary needs. But most of all the hotel is beautiful. The dorm rooms have a nice balcony and view from the windows. Each bed has curtains and enough privacy. There is only one shower but I never had a problem during my stay as I usually wake up early. It is also an amazing shower - such good pressure and infinite hot water. I cannot rate this hostel highly enough. I only wish I could stay longer and I will definitely return if I ever come back to Hue. 10/10 <3

The hotel can only be accessed through a very small alley. Our taxi driver had to quit and only take us within 100meter of the hotel. The rest you will have to walk - which is not a general problem, but it was quite spooky feeling and bad vibe to be put into a dark alley by some cab driver and be told to just further into that alley… The „pool“ on the picture takes up about 80% of the entrance hall. You would not use it ;)

Excellent location, in a small alley where cars can't pass - so it's really quiet as only the occasional scooter goes through. The owners were exceptionally nice and cheerful. And you get breakfast as well! The room was big, nice, and clean - there's wasn't anything not to like.

The staff is very welcoming and helpful They have excellent recommendations on restaurant And on the top they recommended me easy rider to ride a moto from hue to an hoi. I had an amazing and wonderful trip with a great driver. Yo Nguyen : on top of driving safely , he showed me incredible places along the road. We had a lot of fun . Certainly one of my best day in Vietnam

I liked everything ❤️. Lee the owner and her daughter are the kindest and most beautiful humans. The rooms are so nice and hommy, i loved the personal touches. It's right by many restaurants and shops. Great place for solo travelers or a couple. I will definitely stay here on my next stop to Hoi An.
