The location of the Hostel as such is great! It was just sometimes a bit overwhelming for US to be so close to beer street, because it got very busy.

The Staff was so helpful and kind whenever we needed advice or help wirh trips! And the beds were very comfortable!

Super central location in Old Quarter. Staff were really friendly and helpful! They booked my whole itinerary for me to do ha Giang, Sapa and Halong bay. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nice, but you’re also a 20second walk from many other cafes and restaurants. Very nice stay :)

I booked to stay twice during my stay in Northern Vietnam; I really enjoyed the cleaniness, the friendliness of the staff, and the location of the hostel. I will say that it feels like a hostel where you can choose to be as social or not social as you desire; there are good common areas and free walking tours, but the rooms were relatively quiet.

Tends to be quite dead early on, so if you wanna meet people you kinda have to be here before happy hour starts.

Fantastic little hostel ideally placed, with great amenities and super friendly staff. The happy hour is a great idea to meet people since it is literally free (mediocre (but free !)) beer for half an hour

They refill your bottle of water at the bar for free. It would be nice if they put a sign at the bar, many people don't know or discover this after a couple of days. For the light sleepers, bring earplugs: The doors of the rooms are very heavy and make a lot of noise when someone is coming in or out of the room at night. And this probably applies for all hostels in Hanoi, but be prepared for not a lot of sleep as there are many traveller coming and going, arriving very late or leaving early and walking you up. Breakfast for 50K. Would be nice if tea (30K!) was included.

Very clean hostel, the cleaning ladies are busy all day keeping the rooms and bathrooms clean.  The beds have their own curtain, night lamp and electrical plugs. Comfortable bed, towel provided. Large lockers.  Location is right in the center of the Old Quarter.  Information desk is very helpful!  Nice hostel to meet other travellers. HOW TO GET THERE BY BUS FROM HANOI AIRPORT: BUS 86 (45000 VND, 1 hr) stops in the Old Quarter, 7 min walk. BUS 17 (9000 VND, almost 2 hr) get off at the final stop at Long Biên busstation, 15min walk.

The four bed dorm is very small - go for the six bed one!

It was very social but not a party hostel. I met so many other travellers during free beers, the walking tour and cooking class. The staff are lovely and helpful, especially Nancy! The location is convenient and close to so many good food spots.

The only slight problem I had was the light switch in my bed was in the way of the socket, therefore unfortunately my universal plug did not fit into the socket

I’ve been travelling for 8 weeks and this hostel is the best hostel I’ve stayed in. The rooms are so comfortable, the bathrooms are clean. The staff are helpful and the hostel offer a lot. The location is perfect and I met some lovely fellow travellers! The free walking tour was a great way to see the city and to meet people. The hostel is very sociable but not party which is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for a great stay

Bathroom had a little bit of a funny smell but that's it

The staff were absolutely lovely in this hostel that was the main thing, I booked ha giang loop through them and had the best time. They were always happy to help when needed. Bunk beds were very comfy and spacious I booked a 4 bed room. Only thing is that the bathroom had a little bit of a funny smell but i would definitely still recommend to stay here 😊

Great hostel in the center of Hanoi old quarter. Tucked up a little street nearby beer corner so you don’t hear the noisy streets around but within minutes walking to all restaurants and cafes. Towels provided with deposit and social area busy. Staff are willing to go above and beyond to help plan your trip and make the most of your time. We had a walking tour with billy who showed us around the city.

Alas! The exceptional service means unavailability of rooms on a short notice. The lockers divided into two stories means a struggle if one was alloted space in the upper row and unfortunately has a heavy luggage. The kitchen takes a while to deliver food ordered. Would have loved a roof top relaxation area as the meeting zone off the reception is not that spacious and feels claustrophobic at times.

Right at the heart of Old quarter, in a quaint little street close to the weekend food market, this hostel meets all expectations and more. The receptionists are welcoming and helpful, the happy hour an excellent opportunity to make new acquaintances, the walking tour and cooking classes a great way to learn more of the local culture. Rooms are neat and well furnished, loved the small lockers next to the beds which were comfy, bathrooms are clean. CCTV monitored luggage room and a cosy lounge equipped with a library and with a world map adorned with visitors' notes. Would be my number one choice if I had to visit Hanoi again.
