They allows us early check in since we were travelling with kid. Also next day we had early flight so he provide us egg bread as breakfast before the breakfast time.

The breakfast is not really like the pictures. It’s some fruit, white bread and underwhelming pancakes or eggs. It’s fine, but don’t expect much.

Good location, close to beach (10/15 minute walk) and restaurants and convenience stores. The hosts are very kind and try to help out with everything, though they don’t speak any English.

The property was in a good location of the village of Ong Lang. From the hotel there are a number of restaurants and coffee shops which was perfect for us. If you want more options you can head into the main centre which is a 15 minute taxi journey away. There is a beautiful beach just a 10 minute walk from the property. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower area was great! Loved the grounds, felt very lush and tropical. Breakfast was basic but provided fried eggs, omelettes, fruit, bread etc. We are happy that we chose to stay here in Ong Lang, and found that it was excellent value for money!

Breakfast wasn't served in the hotel despite by the looks of it have excellent breakfast facilities and by the of our stay having a rather busy resort. It was in the hotel over the road which was fabulous but couldn't help but feel we were taking space from their guests as there was a struggle for seats at times. There seemed to be some kind of insect in the woodwork during our stay making loud scratches in the night which awoke us at times. Ong Lang is undergoing a big road development so the noise of the roadworks was overwhelming at times.

The resort had excelent facilities and a lovely pool. Room was large and bathroom was spacious! Location was great, a short walk to the closest beach and a 30 minute walk to Ong Lang Beach which was pristine and empty. The owners were friendly and always around to help.

It seemed to be an off-season, therefore, the kitchen and bar were not open which meant I did not get breakfast. However, the host informed me about this situation and gave me some money for breakfast :D

The host is really helpful. I had to check out early morning and he waited for me with a preordered taxi (even though I did not ask for it) which helped a lot since I couldn't call any Grab. He did not speak English but used a very good translator so we were able to break down the language barriers : ) In addition, the garden is beautiful and I loved the pool.

The place is very dark at night and we didn’t enjoy our stay as much as we wanted because there was a lizard in our room the curtains were stuck and hard to close we also didn’t enjoy breakfast when we stayed because the staff didn’t prepare it even though we paid for it to be included

The place during the day very magical you really get the sense of living in island and within a walking distance to the beach which was empty almost our entire stay the super market is 2 min away and the night bar right next to it the staff is super helpful and accommodating the lasy at the front desk helped us get ride for cheap and allowed us to use the kitchen and check in earlier at no charge

All the reviews I read about the place, before booking it, said that it was a short walk to the beach, which is true. The beach is at the end of the road. There isn’t a lot of beach though. It’s like the ocean starts, where the road ends. But you can rent a sunbed from the resort that is “on the beach” for 100.000 dong. The 100.000 song seems to be the standard price, when you rent a sunbed in Phú Quoc island.

The owners were super sweet and friendly. Our 7 year old daughter absolutely loved the pool. There was a small breakfast buffet and then you could have a banana pancake and the type of egg that you wanted. And then there would be fried rice, noodle soup or something else. It varied every morning. We got fresh towels every day. We got four small waters every day. There was shower gel, shampoo etc in the bathroom. Nice green view, when you looked out the window. We ate a lot of take out from the nearby restaurants, as our 4 month old baby got tired, and it was easier to eat at home. It looks like the owners recycled the garbage, which was nice to see, as you see a lot of other places burning trash all over the island.

We enjoyed our stay here. Peaceful & quite and beautiful resort , clean big and spacious room Specially Staffs are very helpful and friendly Resort are filled with green and trees. Not noisy as in downtown, There are 2 clean beaches nearby you can walk 5-10 minutes or enjoy a bike ride for free. we can hire a motorbike to noisy night market only 15-20 minutes

We spent two weeks at the Palm Hills Resort with our two young children and had a wonderful time. Everything was just great - the pool was sparkling clean and the water was nice and warm, the bungalow was very nice, and the paths are covered with all kinds of palm trees and other plants that you feel a bit like in the jungle. We always took the bikes to the beach, which you could borrow for free. The supermarket can be reached within a minute and most restaurants are just a few steps away. The operators did everything to ensure that we had a wonderful holiday. A mattress was exchanged for a harder one for us, coconuts were brought when one of us was sick, children were looked after and we were even able to taste mussels that the operator collected. For breakfast every day there was delicious fresh juice, omelette, and a pasta or rice dish, baguette,... Every day there was something different. We could have asked for anything for breakfast, but we were totally happy with it. In short, we felt at home and we couldn't have imagined a better place for a holiday with children. We are so grateful for the wonderful time! We don't know why the Palm Hills is often listed as sold out on Booking.com. Just try to book through another portal or simply contact the Palm Hills directly.

Very poor breakfast. We need to go to the nearby resort to have breakfast with a very small bar containing only breads and eggs, some rice and sausages. We had to wait outside with hot weather for 20 mins after we checked-in due to blackout.

A bit of a trek to get to the beach (while lugging a toddler, possibly as just adults wouldn’t have been so bad), the bathrooms were a bit gross - dark and damp and didn’t get cleaned for the entire week we were there. They gave fresh towels but no fresh face cloths and we had to ask them to give us a fresh bath mat after 5 days. I don’t think they cleaned the floors the entire time we were there until my husband and I got fed up and took the broom off the cleaning cart one day. They came in and finished sweeping and mopping after we had started.

The garden is beautiful, the managers are friendly, it’s a good location to walk to nearby restaurants, we got fresh towels every day. There’s a very cute bar by the pool and a restaurant area but they aren’t functioning which is unfortunate because they would be very cute!

Even it was advertised a nice full bufet, we have been transfered to another private, where was wery poor day to day. We waited 50 mins in the dark on arrival for someone who can check us in. The hotel organised the driver, so they know when we will arrive. Our driver were keep saying 2 minutes but noone came for nearly an hour. Staff speaks very small English, no apologies been given. In the room safe is not working, we asked next day to fix, nothing happened. No cable or satellite on TV, we asked it to be fixed so husband can watch England game. Nothing happened. Next morning, next shock. We had to have breakfast in the resort next door. Very very poor selection. Fruits finished by 30 mins before breakfast supposed to close, staff not speaking English, don't have WiFi there, can't translate what we want. Only eggs and pho available and some bread with butter. Next few days we had variaty of pho, and eggs, once pancake, after 4 days only eggs and pancakes, but banana been covered with flies. After that we stopped having breakfast, it was so unhygienic. Flies on everything even on bread. Nothing at all that shown on the photos here. We understand it's off season, but a warning would have been nice. It's false advertising. Restaurant, bar closed. Trying to unpack, drawers stuck, can't open them. Water is going down extremely slow in the shower. Rooms not been cleaned, every morning we have to look for any stuff member to ask for water and toilet paper, and that is quite uncomfortable. 7 nights, noone came to clean. Sometimes it takes 15 mins to find anyone who works there, if you find them at all. We had 5 days without internet. Even though there was a power cut on the whole island, every other place around us had internet. As I said it's off season we know, but every day we were kinda expecting that something will go wrong. We found broken glass poolside around 11:30am-12:00 pm it's just not been cleaned. Don't have do not disturb or clean the room signs available, mould in bathroom. Restaurant and bar is not working.

It actually looks like on the photos apart from breakfast. Very nice garden, clean pool. Although they don't maintain the garden and had rubbish between flowers.
