Perfect location! Right in the old center (to give you some examples in terms of walking distance: 5 min from the lake and the famous cathedral, 15 min l from the mural street or the prison museum, 20 min l from the opera house, 25 min from the train street) yet far from the noise of the streets. Anna and Emma (with me in the picture) are among the most lovely people I met during my trip to Vietnam! Not only they can help with booking local transportation to difference provinces but they can also promptly assist for any other needs. For example, as my bus was early morning they arrange the kitchen to open earlier than breakfast time so that I could eat and they even packed some food for the trip; I needed some medicine because of a insect bite and they quickly went to the pharmacy to buy something for me. As I went back for my second time they upgraded me to a bigger room but I can guarantee that all beds are super comforbale!

I could hear all sounds coming from the corridor i.e. other guests coming and leaving. The window faced a wall in the corridor and there was basically no natural light

Friendly staff. Anna and Lucy were so helpful they booked and planned everything. Airport transfers, transport to Ha Long. Would have been extremely difficult and stressful without their help.

Small hotel in the old quarter. Location is awesome, near bars, restaurants and tailors. I really liked how they provided large glass bottles of water, you can replace empty bottles from reception for free. No plastic! Reception staff Helen and Min were super friendly and helpful. Had a great time!

Well, the room and bathroom are spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. On 2nd night when i checked in, i enjoyed free upgrade, a kind gesture of Anna, to a larger room. I skipped the first night at Parklane due to a last minute appointment with a friend and got to stay somewhere. After paperwork done by Anna’s equally friendly staff Emma, Anna opened up the city map and warmly showed me some interesting places in should visit like the famous lake, Tram Street, church and Beer Street. She made me feel at home. Anna was also the first one to welcome me when i stepped foot in the hotel. She meticulously attended to my travelling needs throughout my stay in VN.

Very poor shower.

Brilliant location . We had 2 early starts and on both occasions the staff prepared our breakfast outside of breakfast times, one as a takeaway. Beds were comfortable.

Everything really. The location is in the middle of the old town within easy walking distance to the main attractions, night market and many food places. The beds are very comfortable, the A/C instantly effective and the accommodation perfectly layed-out and clean for a family of 4. The breakfast was great and had both local and western choices. But best of all was the exceptional and very caring service from Anna, Emma and all other staff. Anna was super responsive and organised everything for us including trips to Lan Ha Bay, trips around Hanoi, SIM cards, laundry and airport transfers.

The Parklane hotel was exactly what we were looking for— great value, location, and service. We extended our stay multiple times! The location is extremely central in the old quarter, but it’s on a street that is quieter. Anna is amazing— I messaged her directly on WhatsApp. Also when we left I forgot a small bag 🫣 we already left for Da Nang, but Anna contacted me and mailed it!!! What fantastic service ✨ Also they were great about holding our bags while we did multi-day trips to Ha Long Bay, the Ha Giang Loop, etc. Highly recommend!
