Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomI love everything about Pavilion Hotel Đà Nẵng. I have now stayed there three times in the last two years. From the morning to the evening, the staff are professional and will tend to your needs. The breakfast buffet has a great spread, the rooms are as clean as a whistle, the rooftop pool is simply incredible and looks better and better as the day goes on. I will only ever stay at Pavilion when I visit Đà Nẵng.

MalaysiaOur only complaint was noisy guests & kids on our floor in the late evening.
From our perspetive the best thing about this hotel is its location not far from the My Khe beach area in Danang. There are also many restaurants and mini-marts in the area offering a wide variety of food. The main commercial areas and the Champa museum are a quick and easy Grab ride away (necessary given the heat!). The hotel breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of breakfast options. The pool area is small but very good, with nice views over the city and ocean.

AustraliaLeaving after 6 wonderful days in Danang
Location of hotel so close to the beach. The staff were fantastic in particular B Thuy who went beyond in helping our family of 10. She helped to retrieve a lost bag left in a van and we appreciated this assistance. The swimming pool and bar were a highlight with great views over the beach etc. B Thuy also assisted us in booking our trip to Bana Hills which was fantastic. The breakfast was also go great quality.

ItalyIn our room the wifi did not work well. We can only connect if standing right at the room entrance door. The wifi signal was lost from the beds.
Great accomodation in Danang, a few minutes walking from the beach. Rooms are clean and fairly spacious. The view from the rooms and the pool/skybar is beautiful. The swiming pool on the roof is of good size. Kind and friendly staff, always smiley. The breakfast offers a reasonable variety of food, well cooked. The eating area is also nice and sized well. Overall, great value for money.

New ZealandThe milk at breakfast says "fresh" but it's really made from powder so it's very watery. They also put it in scrambled eggs which makes water run all over your plate. I changed to fried eggs which were fine.
It's a cute hotel with very good value if you don't want to spend money on the big resorts. The beach is in walking distance and it has a small roof top pool which was great. Breakfast was good too with many choices and an egg station. The location is convenient to get to Marble Mountains and Bana Hills.

AustraliaNothing to complain about.
Absolutely LOVED our stay at the Pavilion family of 4 two adults two kids aged 8-10. By far the best stay so far in VN. Perfect location in the middle of Da Nang beach and city. Variety of shops around. Can walk or catch a Da Nang shuttle up and down the beach area. Which is very handy when your feet get sore from walking. Street food all around. Two mini marts directly beside and two drink stalls. Iced coffee is on point here in VN. We loved the vibe at Pavilion from check in to checkout we stayed 5 nights. Shld have stayed longer as we found Hoi An not as great. Room cleaned everyday, extra toilet rolls. reception girls were extremely kind and helpful with tours. Booked our tour to ba na hills with them as we left it till night before. Extremely handy. She told us we could pay for the tickets the Next day no problems!! Highly recommended to stay, loved the sky bar service very attentive and quick to serve. Breakfast had a good variation and hrs of operation were spot on, unlike some places they close up earlier. Late night poolside is serene, daytime nice and fresh under hot sun. The vibe of this place is very inviting and fun!..music cannot be heard from the room which is good. thankyou especially to Xuyen and fellow staff for all your recommendations. Will def stay here again next visit!! Thankyou for making our first visit to VN at ease.

AustraliaOur last minute booking family room was a bit tight for 4 pp and our air con failed but we didn't call reception because it was midnight when we got in and noticed. Staff were obliging and gave us a discount off room service, the staff are lovely and aim to please. Note ..any taxi bookings/tours check your details. Grab waaaaay cheaper. Side note...Bana Hills is a theme park, in my haste I didn't realise this...my bad.
Great location good sizes rooms with a fantastic view. Easy walk to beach and restaurants, mini marts and ATMs. Clean rooms,,modern bathrooms, good air conditioning when it's working. Staff very friendly and helpful some spoke good English breaky...omelettes always a hit with westerners (I like Asian fare but not always for breakfast)

AustraliaGym was pretty poor almost the point of why bother. One treadmill and a rack of dumbbells that were difficult to take the dumbbells out off and one machine. This encouraged me to just go for a run by the beach where a lot of other locals and foreigners work out and exercise too. Music playing outside the rooms as early as 6am in the morning can be a bit annoying and hotel cleaning staff can be quite loud talking in the early hours as well. Wifi was also very weak, ended up just using my own mobile data :(
Minutes from the beach by foot, very clean and has quite a lixury hotel feeling for the price. Buffet breakfast was great. Dishes changed both days I ate ranged from Asian to western great selection all you’d want for breakfast. Rooms very spacious and clean with room service. Pool was great with view. Staff very helpful and friendly.
