The hotel was situated in one of the most beautiful locations we ever stayed in, we genuinely couldn’t take our eyes off it. Hotel is super clean and decorated beautifully, staff are lovely and very attentive. Rooms were super comfortable, again super nice touches and decorations everywhere and you directly face the sea from the room. Breakfast was amazing as well, make sure you don’t miss it. Hope we get a chance to return in the future :)

This is a stunning hotel with a superb location and excellent facilities. The breakfast buffet is simply incredible. This was the perfect place to end our holiday in Vietnam.

Japanese restaurant was too expensive for the quality of the dishes. We ordered the fixed menu and it was not good. We stayed 3 nights and when we asked for more water, which is offered, a guy from the reception told us that we already got too many and if we want more we should go to the city to buy it. It is unacceptable since they give small water bottles and it’s hot, we went for a run and used the gym.

Exceptional views from the 2 pools. The rooms are very nice decorated. The location is great far from noises.

Staff is not trained for 5 star level of service & expectations. Breakfast was good but nothing above the line. Food, room & pool service very average. No air extractor in room bathroom and toilet No air con in elevators Auto setting air con in the room, switches on each time you go out on balcony.

However to by a 5* hotel there is still something to improve on. Staff were not that friendly and welcoming. We had some issues with room, but when we have called the reception, they were not willing to help. If this would improve, it would be even better. And we missed sun beds on the beach.

This Place is a peaceful heaven. We visited this hotel in April and the hotel was not that busy. The hotel has so many amazing places where you can relax and have some time for yourself. Also very good for couples even families. Our room was huge, clean, well designed with balcony and amazing views. This was one of the best stays ever, and we travel a lot so I can compare.

The stairs leading from outside down to the pool area are poorly lit at night. The stairs are a black colour which doesn’t help. Recovering from a sprained foot at the age of 67 I felt really uncomfortable going down these stairs at night. There should be a strip of highly reflective material that runs the length of the step. Going up the stairs at night was fine as the lighting from above shone down. The front doors of the hotel are large and heavy and not always (as in other hotels) was a bell boy or someone there to open the doors.

I loved the pools and the view from our room. The service was efficient and welcoming. The restaurants have lovely food and the breakfasts were fantastic.

The water in the shower in our room did not drain out properly, leaving a huge puddle of water across the floor on slippery tiles. It's dangerous! It is a design fault as the floor slopes away from the shower drain not towards it. Other than the guy who opens the door for you, the rest of the staff were not friendly. The restaurant is over priced. It's still worth it for the view from the room and the roof top, which were amazing.

Fabulous room. Wow what a view! Very clean. You can get an electric cart into town if you walk to the end of the hotels drive at a very reasonable cost.

Only thing I would mention is you have no private beach for the hotel. Only a public one.

Really nice, comfy and spatious. They had the biggest bed I have ever seen. And the emplacement is so nice with the view and the beach.

My rooms ac was not working the first day and they took a lot of time to understand the issue and change the room. Also they need to have more English speaking staff as the locals don’t understand what you are saying.

Attention to detail, beautiful rooms and aesthetics- one of the finest hotels I’ve stayed in ever. Excellent breakfast.

For a 5 stars hotel we were expecting a minimum of standards when it comes to offered cruises in Lan Ha bay. Please, avoid going on The sunset cruise. The quality of the cruise and the boat was really bad, and it was more expensive than elsewhere because it was arranged through the hotel.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this remarkable hotel and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, offering a panoramic vista that truly enhanced my stay. Situated in a prime location, it was incredibly convenient to explore the surrounding area, with numerous restaurants and amenities just a short stroll away. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional service provided by the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism, and throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Their dedication to making my experience memorable was truly commendable. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a picturesque walking area further added to its charm. Taking in the stunning scenery while enjoying a leisurely stroll was the perfect way to unwind and appreciate the beauty of the surroundings. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Whether you're seeking a relaxing getaway or simply want to soak in the beauty of the locale, this establishment offers everything you could possibly desire. A couple of minor points - the swimming pool water wasn't heated, including the jacuzzi - it would have been a really nice touch to have a heated pool.

We thoroughly enjoyed a few days on Cat Ba island, staying in this luxurious hotel. The breakfast buffet was exceptional, and we really enjoyed the evening restaurants too, particularly the Japanese restaurant. The swimming pool areas were also very nice including the swim-up bar.

The staff could not speak English very well which lead to some frustrating moments. While the breakfast was excelent the food at the indochina and akoya restaurants was relatively basic and clearly below what should be expected from a 5* hotel. Despite best efforts the akoya restaurant kitchen felt understaffed and we had to order hours in advance (when we booked)to avoid long waiting times.

Amazing location. Great architecture and interior design. The breakfast was great. Excelent level of comfort. Great spa floor and excelent massage.

This was by far the best property that we stayed in during our Vietnam honeymoon. Rooms were spacious and sitting out on the balcony watching the waves was sooooo relaxing. Pools were great to swim in and the food was truly exceptional. Breakfast buffets was stunningly large and delicious! Hotel staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay.

Pool area could have used more loungers (however there wasn’t a ton of space so don’t know if that’s really possible). Did not really like that they were cushions - if someone was wet on them before us it took a while to dry. The pool area was very nice though!

The decor and color scheme in the hotel was very appealing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Tuan Tu especially made us feel welcome. The location is slightly away from the hustle of the town which was nice. The views from the balcony were breathtaking! And the breakfast and a la Carte menu were great.
