Kudos to the management and staff of this hotel for the superb ambience and seamless service. The hotel feels like home. In an era where five-star ratings are often simply given to big-name hotels with subpar service, this hotel takes you back to a time when five stars genuinely signified excellence and meant something. There is an abundance of activities within the hotel, from the well-equipped gym and the game room to relaxing by the two pools on either side of the building, with amazing scenery, and the functional spas. The architecture is stunning, the interior decorations are impeccable, and the rooms are quiet. The staff are very friendly, easygoing yet very professional. The food and the breakfast are also excellent.

Breathtaking location with stunning views. On arrival Miss Oyen was fabulous and my favourite hotel staff of the journey, she was kind , thoughtful , and a joy to talk to, a credit to the hotel. The room is so beautiful! Hotel is located 10-15 minute easy stroll into town, but just as easy and cheap to get the electric golf carts , which are always available. Hotel was spotless. Pools were amazing and perfect temperature. Access to beach also easy and fabulous beach. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of variety. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again. Thank you so much to all the lovely staff.

A few points to better the experience : -The toilet should be hidden from the bedroom -No snack options in the swimming pool area -Staff English should be trained in restaurant (breakfast)

The bar shuts at 10pm, so the hotel is entirely dead after this. We had to remember to go to a local supermarket to grab a nightcap for our room.

The location - looking out to see. The view from the room was ideal. The King size room was great - massive bed, balcony, great shower and bathroom. All amenities and the TV allowed us to Bluetooth our phones for entertainment. The hotel is great - classically styled with taste and all the staff are beyond friendly and helpful. It was my partner's birthday while we stayed and at very short notice they arranged a delivery of flowers for me with no hassle. Also laid on a birthday cake. This is quite the find and I hope I'll return here some day.

The service provided by the hotel staff was disappointing. Example: there were multiple groups of 3-4 staff members in the breakfast hall, but they were not helpful at all. You have to stand up every time you want or need something (like new cutlery, more coffee/tea, ...). Even though there were more than enough staff members to serve every guest at their table, every guest had to actively approach them to get served. This was by far the worst service experience we had in a long time. Another example: we wanted to have drinks on the rooftop bar, we went upstairs and there were 3 waiters. As they did not come to our table for 10 minutes, we stood up and asked them to please give us the menu. 10 minutes later they still did not bother to come to our table to take the order. It was not busy at all, we were the only guests at that time, and they did not seem to be busy at all (there were 3 of them). On our last day at the checkout counter, they were not even interested in hearing our feedback. They didn't ask if we liked it or if there was anything they could have done better. But honestly, I was not surprised. Last thing to mention: most of the staff members don't speak English, it's sometimes really hard to communicate with them. So, even if you ask for something, you sometimes would get something different just because they misunderstood. Overall, the hotel is great, but the service experience was really horrible compared to all the other much cheaper hotels we stayed in during our Vietnam holidays. This hotel is really luxurious - you would expect a customer experience at the same level.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and cozy. The location is great. It is super quiet. The beach is right in front of it. The sea view is amazing. The breakfast provides diverse options.

Coffee! I asked for local hot Vietnamese coffee ( they reheated some black coffee intended for iced coffee), but was the only place I visited without fresh hot ca phé den drip coffee! So many staff on hand, three people watching the pod machine being used! Train a barista! It’s crazy to use pods (taste wasn’t great) when the local coffee is so good, fresh and readily available and promotes the best of Vietnam.

Breakfast buffet food was amazing, everything you could want and more. Staff cooked fresh crepes, omelettes etc on demand plus a beautiful buffet of fruits, salads, fresh breads etc.

The quality of the food in the Indochine restaurant is not good. This being the most expensive food we had throughout our trip, the quality just didn’t live up to those expectations. The staff, including restaurant manager is really trying and very friendly, but there’s a lot missed or misunderstood, which seems like a higher management problem. Wines are very expensive considering the quality. Bar closes early.

It’s a new hotel, very nicely furnished. The location on the beach, as well as the views from the room/ balcony is amazing. The two pools have nice views as well. Very spacious, comfortable, well equipped rooms. The staff was really friendly. The breakfast is tasty and varied in a nice environment!

I thought the pools, and especially jacuzzi, might have been heated, but they weren't. Staying in April it was a little too cool to spend as much time swimming as I would have liked. When friends staying at nearby hotel came to pick me up for dinner, often hotel security would not let them up hill, so I'd have to walk down the street to meet them. Would have been nice to have some more variety in the breakfast buffet. But overall I had the best stay here.

This hotel is beautiful. Lovely comfortable furniture in the room, and attention to detail: 'night lights' and a master switch so you could turn off all the lights from bed, Everything was very comfortable and the staff were kind, warm and attentive. The view from the room (ocean view) was incredible, and the bar and restaurant were lovely, with lots of great seating inside and out. This was my one splurge in Vietnam and I'm so happy I spent a bit more to stay at this hotel. Far nicer than everything else on the island, so much so that I hardly left!

We were wow’d as soon as we stepped in our room. It was neat, tidy, spacious and stylish. The view from the balcony was overlooking the beach and would’ve seen the sunrise but it was unfortunately cloudy. We were on our honeymoon and had beautiful petals laid on the bed and a yummy cake to share. The breakfast buffet was substantial and delicious. The pool facilities are spotless and the views from the top are amazing. Would recommend staying here even though it is a little more on the pricey side. Was one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in.

The hotel was situated in one of the most beautiful locations we ever stayed in, we genuinely couldn’t take our eyes off it. Hotel is super clean and decorated beautifully, staff are lovely and very attentive. Rooms were super comfortable, again super nice touches and decorations everywhere and you directly face the sea from the room. Breakfast was amazing as well, make sure you don’t miss it. Hope we get a chance to return in the future :)

Japanese restaurant was too expensive for the quality of the dishes. We ordered the fixed menu and it was not good. We stayed 3 nights and when we asked for more water, which is offered, a guy from the reception told us that we already got too many and if we want more we should go to the city to buy it. It is unacceptable since they give small water bottles and it’s hot, we went for a run and used the gym.

Exceptional views from the 2 pools. The rooms are very nice decorated. The location is great far from noises.

Staff is not trained for 5 star level of service & expectations. Breakfast was good but nothing above the line. Food, room & pool service very average. No air extractor in room bathroom and toilet No air con in elevators Auto setting air con in the room, switches on each time you go out on balcony.

However to by a 5* hotel there is still something to improve on. Staff were not that friendly and welcoming. We had some issues with room, but when we have called the reception, they were not willing to help. If this would improve, it would be even better. And we missed sun beds on the beach.

This Place is a peaceful heaven. We visited this hotel in April and the hotel was not that busy. The hotel has so many amazing places where you can relax and have some time for yourself. Also very good for couples even families. Our room was huge, clean, well designed with balcony and amazing views. This was one of the best stays ever, and we travel a lot so I can compare.

The stairs leading from outside down to the pool area are poorly lit at night. The stairs are a black colour which doesn’t help. Recovering from a sprained foot at the age of 67 I felt really uncomfortable going down these stairs at night. There should be a strip of highly reflective material that runs the length of the step. Going up the stairs at night was fine as the lighting from above shone down. The front doors of the hotel are large and heavy and not always (as in other hotels) was a bell boy or someone there to open the doors.

I loved the pools and the view from our room. The service was efficient and welcoming. The restaurants have lovely food and the breakfasts were fantastic.

The water in the shower in our room did not drain out properly, leaving a huge puddle of water across the floor on slippery tiles. It's dangerous! It is a design fault as the floor slopes away from the shower drain not towards it. Other than the guy who opens the door for you, the rest of the staff were not friendly. The restaurant is over priced. It's still worth it for the view from the room and the roof top, which were amazing.

Fabulous room. Wow what a view! Very clean. You can get an electric cart into town if you walk to the end of the hotels drive at a very reasonable cost.

Only thing I would mention is you have no private beach for the hotel. Only a public one.

My rooms ac was not working the first day and they took a lot of time to understand the issue and change the room. Also they need to have more English speaking staff as the locals don’t understand what you are saying.

Attention to detail, beautiful rooms and aesthetics- one of the finest hotels I’ve stayed in ever. Excellent breakfast.
