How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Air conditioner in only the bedroom. Not a huge problem for us though.
Great staff, large apartment style room. Nice pool. Great English speaking owner. Great restaurant within a few steps.

Very nice pool, rooms clean and good facilities. Staff very helpful with booking buses and renting a moped, even took us to the bus stop to make sure we got on the right bus. Extremely good value for money.

Danny was so kind and helpful! Sorted our bus out for us, even had them collect us from the main road (walked us up & carried my bag at 7 in the morning!) Recommended great dinner places and a place to do laundry. Very kind, chill and full of knowledge. Location is superb. Set back from the main street so it’s quiet but only a short walk 1-10mins from beach bars, restaurants, food court (with lots of options). This area seems to be the chill pocket of Mui Ne. We walked up the beach for an hour and still think this is the nicest section (about 5min walk toward Eva Hut there is a nice stretch where you can swim). There was always somebody around (Danny, security etc) so it felt safe. Rooms were large and spacious with air con. If we come back to Mui Ne we would definitely stay here again.

The manager was so helpful, friendly and efficient. He recommended places to eat and was always present and attentive to all guests. The pool was lovely and the whole property was clean and well looked after.

The road is not supported big enough for SUV van however still can be able to drive in. We stayed over the Hot season and the weather is so hot for hanging out
The room rate and cost was quite fair with what we paid. Room space is quite big enough, liked the open room air design with swimming pool. The kids loved to swimming and playing together

The air con wasn’t very strong in our room but it still okay.
Clean spacious room. The owner was so friendly and helped us book the sand dune tour. Really good value for money. Gorgeous pool with space to sunbathe.

Staff and host were fantastic! Helped us booking tours and transport, super friendly and asking us how we were. Drinks to purchase in the reception fridge, and pool in great condition, nice big apartment too

Really helpful staff - gave us recommendations for places to eat, helped us with our bags and let us checkin a couple of hours early. Great location, right next to a number of restaurants and the beach. The property also had a good sized pool and rooms were comfortable.

It's not a non-smoking area. You should write to the property in advance to check you into with no smoking neighbors.
The apartment I'm staying in now for the money I paid is more than excellent. The owner speaks fluent english, very nice guy. Clean. The location is perfect. No music around, no dogs barking around.

Excellent guesthouse with outstanding service! Dang, the manager, takes wonderful care of his guests, offering valuable advice on activities and great local recommendations. Our arrival at 4:30 am instead of the planned 8 am (due to the bus) was seamlessly handled by Dang. Despite initially intending to wait in the guesthouse's entrance until 8-9 am, Dang insisted we take a room for some much-needed rest. The following day, when we expressed our intention to compensate for the accommodation, he graciously declined our offer, further highlighting his exceptional hospitality. Furthermore, we were fortunate to be upgraded from a lovely double room to a one-bedroom apartment. The premises are clean and well-maintained, and the spacious pool is often pleasantly quiet with respectful guests. The location is superb, just a 2-minute walk from the beach, several restaurants, a fruit market, and a supermarket. A 5-minute walk east leads to a delightful sea-view restaurant with dishes starting at 50,000 dongs, featuring excellent ratatouille, curry, and avocado salad. Additionally, a 5-minute walk west brings you to 'Pineapple Mui Ne,' a charming beach bar-café-restaurant with a magnificent sunset view (no entrance fee). In summary, I highly recommend booking this guesthouse for a fantastic stay. A special thank you to Dang for his outstanding hospitality, making our early arrival seamless and adding an extra touch to our unforgettable stay.

Everything was perfect ! The location is great, the rooms are confortable, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. Most importantly, the owner is super nice and helpful, we would definitely recommend the guesthouse !

Great service. Very friendly and helpful young couple who own the place. The place is very close to beach that was great for an early morning swim. Also there is a very clean pool to relax at anytime. I definitely recommend this place.

the Pool was amazing and also the staff was really friendly and helpful, the owner organized us the bus to the airport and everything was going on well, it was really clean and air condition in the room was great and we enjoyed our time there, we can really recommend spending time in Pharos Guesthouse

Danny was the most amazing host, couldn’t have done anymore for us! So helpful with arranging day trips. Always making sure we were as comfortable as possible. Thank you for making our stay so great :) lovely hotel right on the beach, with great pool! Lots of restaurants around too !
