1. The family rooms are slightly smaller and can congested for 4 people, just a minor nuance. 2. Breakfast options are very limited if you are vegetarians but Mr. Long will do his best to cater your needs.

1. Excellent location right beside the Son river. Beautiful & cozy little homestay. The mountain view rooms are incredible. The town centre is approximately 10min walk or 1km away 2. Mr Long & Family are amazing hosts, they do everything to care of the guests very well. They arranged the bus pick up from Dong Hoi, for our family of 14 people. Arranged all the tours and also booked our bus to Hanoi. Although we paid possibly 20% more than what it would cost if we did it ourselves, the convenience of them doing it for us is worth paying the difference. 3. Mr Long even let us use his kitchen to make some Indian style coffee and prepare our ready to eat meals :) 4. Very friendly family, I would highly recommend the Coco HomeStay without a doubt.

The views that came with this property were stunning, lovely sitting area outside the room. The family were so friendly and very helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean, they offered free bikes to use and was able to hire a moped for us for the day. Overall loved the area it was friendly and peaceful and the views were amazing.

We had a great stay with Long and his family. The views are amazing over the river, where you can swim. We had a lot of help with booking tours, busses and also renting a motorbike (and free bikes). The breakfast was also very tasty. Thanks again for a great experience in Phong Nha

Because of the summer heat, there were quite a few termites and ants in the room. Other than that, everything was perfect.

I stayed here after my excursion with Oxalis. Coco House's staff and view were both very nice. Having breakfast by the river was very relaxing. I had an early morning bus to Hoi An on the day of checking out, and the owner, Long, took me to the departure point and bought me some bread for breakfast, which I greatly appreciated.

It was a bit dusty and noisy, but I can so overlook all the that because of the generosity and hospitality of Long and his family.

Loved the location on the river front and Long and his family were fantastic, organising the best trekking and caving tour for us! Long arranged for us to be picked up at Dong Hoi train station at 5.30am when our overnight train arrived and then got up at 4am and drove us back to the station himself when we left. He and his wife shared their plans for their renovation of Coco House before we left and we wish them all the best. We look forward to returning one day. Thank you for having us!

It's close to road so you do hear traffic I wish they had espresso machine

Host was very helpful, super patient and provided very good contact before arriving Ambience is good, My friend twisted ankle in cave and host took really nice care of him bringing fresh ice bags and checking how he is doing Location is fantastic with shared space overlooking the river Air-conditioning worked super well Laundry service overnight was very convenient.i left 6am and my laundry was ready for me Breakfast was simple yet very filling and sufficient for an active say of caves exploration

Just wrapped up a stay at this homestay and wow, what an experience! The owner messaged us before about when and where we got off our bus and picked us up for free when we arrived! The room’s cozy charm paired with a stunning view makes it a perfect retreat. Not only was the space spotless, but the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, added so much value. Whether it was the delicious breakfast or the assistance with renting a scooter er lending one of their bikes for free, they truly went above and beyond. It’s a peaceful spot by the river that promises both relaxation and adventure. Can’t recommend it enough!

The view was spectacular. It was nice to see the beautiful sunset from our balcony. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and the owner went above and beyond to help us with transport and tours. He drove us to the caves and he prepared us a breakfast to go on the day we were leaving at 6:45 am. That was very appreciated. He even gave us a ride to our bus. Very nice people and place. Highly recommended.

Amazing Hosts that made me feel like family and did so much for me, like book trips, rent a motorbike, buy bus ticket… it‘s been an absolute pleasure to stay here and I added another night because I felt so comfortable. Get the rooms with the river view if possible. Bring earplugs though, the walls are thin. ;) I felt absolutely at home from the first minute.

Phong and his family were supportive and assisted us in organizing for a bike. The room is value for the money. It was clean and closed to the main tourist attraction, which is Phong Nha Cave. The accommodation has good river views.

Everything was perfect!

We had a mountain and river facing room, which was extremely quiet and had an unparalleled view. The breakfast was hearty and tasty. Even when we had to leave at 7 am for a cave tour, Long and Lan made sure we have breakfast. They took care of everything for us - local recommendations, tours, buses, and anything else we needed. Our shoes broke so they got us super glue from the market! They made sure laundry was timely and well-done at a reasonable price. The cycles were free and in really good condition as well. We loved it so much here, we extended our stay by 2 nights. On our last night, they graciously invited us to their family dinner - this was the most homely experience for us in Vietnam! Highly recommend!
