How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The mattress in the room was horrible. There was a huge dent in the center. At the time the hotel was being renovated, so maybe they would have changed it out, but I think they didn't. The room I stayed in had no window, so it was quite stuffy, but that was expected for the price. I peeped into a renovated higher end room on that floor (the door was open because of the construction), and it looked pretty good. The fridge didn't work (no cooling effect whatsoever) and the little bottles of shower gel and shampoo in the shower seemed to all be missing the little straws inside so you cannot really use the pump on it, which was weird?! The landromat was expensive: 120.000vnd (or more) for a load of clothes. I literally paid a quarter of that for the same load in Hanoi's Old quarter. Also, I got changed into another room on my last day there, and that was annoying.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is good, the beach is 5 minutes on foot away and there's plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. It's quite cheap.

Very hard mattress, room a bit musty and with mosquitoes present when I arrived. Room was quickly sprayed and aired by staff when I informed them. Part of the stone skirting board had detached itself from the wall. Maintenance, like housekeeping, seemed to be a bit patchy. No way to tell Housekeeping not to disturb you in the morning, eg. with something to hang on the door to say, "Do not disturb," if you want to lie in.
Hotel probably more attuned to local than international guests. Good location, good price. Front desk friendly.

we did not have a window in the room. moreover the wall seemed to be very dirty, also the room was not the cleanest.

Promotional images provided do not align with reality which can be misleading & ultimately a feeling of disappointment on arrival. Photoshopped. Does not accept cards for payment. Bring cash.
Good location close to the expat area but far enough away from the noise. Spend an extra couple of dollars & secure a room with windows you won’t regret it.

Tried to overcharge me by 40% on arrival, even though booking stated inclusive of any taxes.What tax is 40% anyway.?Beds hard,alarms on doors constantly going off.TV not working.View of wall 1 metre away..On late arranged checkout ,they are changing your key card,and phoning you before the time ,in case you steal 5 minutes.About 10% occupancy in hotel.Go elsewhere!.

The doors alarms keep beeping all the time, until late night and early morning, as well as the elevator bell continuously ringing, there was a continuous coming and going from the rooms and the elevator, that was really annoying. The WiFi sometimes is very slow. The location on Booking is wrong, so it was actually further from the place where I was planning to stay.
The room was nice and the receptionists helpful.

No cards payment (but on booking they inform it's all cards accepted) No breakfast ( but on booking is information it's breakfast it's available for extra charge) No kittle on room and any cup , no tea no coffee Very noisy aeria Nobady not speak English I need pay extra charge for taking money from ATM to pay for this hotel.
