The building next door was going through construction so during the day from 8am till 6pm we couldn't stay in our room because it was so noisy from drilling sounds and vibration on the walls.

Awesome value for money! Lee was super nice and provided us with a lot of helpful tips for places to go. It was also possible to come there super early and leave our luggage far before check-in. Big room with a lot of space to leave and hang our stuff. Fridge in the room. We loved the sense for sustainability. Water provided in glass bottles (no tap water). Electric devices were not plugged in so they only take energy when needed. If we had the time we would have loved to try the many beers ;)

Some might be put off by the bathroom being more of a wet room - with shower and toilet right next to each other and not separated - but it worked perfectly well and was easy to get used to.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hue. The staff - especially Lee - were extremely friendly and helpful, the hotel well located, and altogether it was very good value indeed. While the bed seemed a little hard at first, it was actually really comfortable. The AC worked well, the water pressure and temperature were consistently good. The bathroom takes a little getting used to (shower and toilet are co-located) but it works well and dries very quickly. They even provided a same day turnaround laundry service which was wonderful. Overall, a big thumbs up.

It was a bit loud on the road at 7am in the morning with some roadworks and someone speaking on a loadspeaker down the road but it was fine as it wasn’t during the night. It didn’t affect our stay in any way.

Really lovely place to stay! The staff were incredibly helpful giving us so much information about what we could do in Hue and options for tours we could book through them. We did an amazing tour at Bach Ma National park which is less popular than other tours but so worth it. The hotel allowed us to leave our bags for the day after checking out and we were able to shower when we got back before getting on a sleeper train. The rooms were also lovely with some great amenities in them and comfy beds and pillows.

We enjoyed everything about our stay here. The staff are extremely nice. They did something that i had not seen anywhere else. They provide you with a map and directions of all the nice things you could see in Hue and also places to eat right the moment you are checking in. They also helped us rent motorbikes hassle free. The room was also very nice and clean and had all the facilities you may need and the location is excellent right next to a cafe kong and several other really really good restaurants. The only thing some may find difficult is that there is no elevator. We didn’t have a problem with that, even though we were on the third floor. But I thought some may find that to be an issue.

The location is perfect and close to the Imperial city. The staff here are amazing to exceptional. Quyen was an absolute pleasure to chat with and was super helpful with everything There is nothing that the staff at Purple Hue can't help you with. I was impressed by the vast collection of micro brew beers that you could order here. The staff really make you feel at home here. Viet Nam is sooooo dialed on customer service. We would have stayed longer if we could have. 11 stars to the staff!

The room was very cosy and the perfect place to relax after a long day! The hotel booked our transfer to our next destination and a tour around Da Nang, it was a great experience that we wouldn’t have done without them. Laundry service was speedy and really well done, as we got our clothes back within 3 hours!

Great staff, super helpful and accommodating. Lee pre-sent us information about the hotel and the Google Maps link with points of interest and restaurants was really great for our short stay. Lee quickly organised a scooter for us on arrival for a good price. Lee went above and beyond and even sent us tips on where to visit in Hoi An after we left!! Room was clean, and well equipped. I am unfortunately not drinking at the moment, but the craft beer selection looked incredible!

We had a large room with two queen size very comfortable beds. The room was quiet with strong AC and was very comfortable. The staff (Lee and Tai) were both very helpful with recommendations for sights and restaurants. Location is perfect with many restaurants cafes and stores in walking distance. We 100% would recommend Purple Hué to anyone visiting Hue.
