How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Nothing.. 100% enjoyed my stay
First visit to Hanoi and want to give a huge thank you to this hotel and staff. They will make you feel at home and work hard to ensure a great stay. My room was clean, comfortable and large with excellent hot water. Be aware that not all room have windows but this isnt a factor for me. Everyone is very friendly and the location is perfectly situated in old town. They can arrange anything you need, including drivers on request. This will be my go to hotel for future visits to Hanoi.

The hotel has a central location, convenient for travel. Near the night market. The room is clean, the staff is friendly, Mr. Harry is great, helping me. Gave me many good options for traveling to Ha Long Bay, Sapa, Ha Giang

The hospitality was amazing, the stuff was so helpful and nice. The bigger room is very comfy as well for long stays. Washing service was the best I had in Vietnam. Location is in the middle of old town. I will recommend to stay here. Thank you Mrs. Bella and team.

The service here is amazing! Check-in was very easy, and the staff supported us wholeheartedly with a cheerful and friendly attitude. I thought it would be difficult to find a quiet and comfortable place to stay until I came to Queen Cafe Hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and fully equipped. The prices are also incredible reasonable.

There is not much to complain about at Queen Cafe Hotel & Pub because it is almost flawless. I was surprised that the staff could appear next to me whenever I needed and help me wholeheartedly. I must rate all the staff here 5 stars for their friendliness and enthusiasm. Additionally, the rooms are very beautiful, spacious, and fully quipped to provide me with the best experience.

Excellent, truly excellent. From the staff, service, to amenities, everything was great. My husband and I had an amazing trip when we decided to book a stay at Queen Cafe Hotel & Pub. Perhaps the only regret is that we didn't stay here a bit longer.

I've stayed here twice while I've been in Vietnam and it's been a pleasure every time. I also booked the Ha Giang Loop trough this hotel. It's been absolutely awesome and one of my best experiences I ever made. Bella is super lovely and me and my friend (who didn't stay here) have been allowed to take a shower even after checking out. The Cafe and breakfast is very nice and you can just chill out here. ☺️

I was not given a towel. The upper dorm can only be reached by walking up a staircase (after having taken the elevator)
I was able to chose between two different dorms. The lockers could be locked with your own lock.
