How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

There was no food available in the property which is not a big problem for me. But outside food was also not allowed inside the room. This was also not informed to us earlier.
Clean place. Good for transit as it is near the airport. Value for money.

Lovely airport hotel, very convenient for when I arrived late at night. They picked me up from the airport and very kindly took me to the bus station the next day too!

bathroom wasn't as expected from pictures.. i thought that wld be a shower glass protection but it didn't. It was not an issue but i felt the pictures available didn't give this idea

We need to take stair to 3rd floor.. so .. if you travel light, it should be fine.
Near airport. Easy access by taxi. Owner is very nice abd response to your message very quick. The bed is comfy.

A bit noisy, from the street and the airport (but then why are you considering a hotel near the airport in the first place :) If you're unlucky you might get an early wakeup by the owners TV :)
Very close to the airport (but you still need a taxi to get there comfortably). Great value for money - maybe not the highest quality but very cheap if you just need to get a sleep before your flight. Friendly staff, but be prepared to translate a few basic sentences because they don't really speak English (not that uncommon in Vietnam anyway).

We just stop by at night for few hours before our flight at 5am. Its very convenient because its near to the airport 5min drive. The bed a bit sandy im not sure why. Others is good. For a short nap i dont mind staying here

The hotel is very near to the airport. We decided to book here because of an early flight. The owner was very friendly. He arranged a taxi for us from Hanoi old quarter to his hotel. Also he woke up early to bring us to the airport for a small fee. Great service! The accomodation is simple but sufficient. We had a great sleep. Just great value for money if you have an early flight or arrive on a late flight.

Would not recommend to walk there. You have to walk all the way on the road and the distance is not really close. You will get a grab for less than 50’000 VND. It’s probably worth to invest although walking there was a bit funny too :)
Close to the airport, but very basic. The women at the front desk help me with my transfer to halong buy directly from the hotel for a good price.

Extremely close to the airport and they can organise any travel you may need from airport transfers to taxis into Hanoi. Love the welcome and honestly made our last day perfect.

Advertised a TV but there wasn’t one in our room but no big deal for just one night.
Perfect hotel for a stop near the airport. Had issues with electricity on arrival but the hosts welcomed us helped us out with finding somewhere to eat and a lift to the airport thank you so much!

There was constant sound of chicken and roosters clucking throughout the early morning from 3 AM which was disturbing for sleep.

I would suggest getting Taxi from Noi Bai Airport to the Hostel instead of using pickup service if you want a cheaper price.
The hostel location is very close to the Airport. Walking distance to some local food vendors for cheap lunch or dinner.

No elevator so had to carry all luggage up stairs but the staff helped
Staff was great, extremely helpful and resourceful, they were very reliable. We left our luggage with them out in the open reception for 3 days and came back to everything as we left it

The towels are very small but it’s ok, they are white, clean and do the job :) I would suggest adding a bathmat for the floor. The staff are very nice and will help with anything.
