Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomOur air conditioning didn’t work so we were reliant on a fan and it was very hot - this was partly our own fault as we didn’t mention it to staff. You also have to leave your key at reception when going out for the day/night and collect it in your return.
Excellent location with lots of bars and restaurants around. Clean, spacious room. Good value for money.

ThailandThe rate was way too expensive given the comfort and facilities of the hotel and compared to other hotels in Vietnam. At this rate, breakfast should have been provided. Bed is too stiff, uncomfortable, and no proper blankets / duvets provided, only a thin blanket like bed sheet. Bathroom has poor ventilation system. Room's size is ok but they have a wooden chair not a couch. Some staff didn't speak English.
Good location. They have motorbikes for rent at reasonable price.

Good location and the room had everything I needed. They were very accommodating when I had to return to the hotel unexpectedly when my train to Ninh Binh was cancelled.

ItalyRoom was with an amount of ants on the wall, breakfast was meh. The room door was made of glass so either the corridor light and ambient light were filtering through. There was some confusion to get to the hotel as Booking locates it to the previous hotel address.
Very good location. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fair size of the room with both AC and fan. Hotel was very quiet.
