Extremely polite hosts! We were warmly welcomed. They really want to make you comfortable. We advise to walk around and explore the nice neighborhood with amazing views. We advise to have a nice drink at Le Restaurant & Cafe and enjoy the views and cheap drinks/food.

The location is around 10 kms from the city centre which makes it difficult unless you hire a motorbike or are prepared to use a taxi. However once you are there it is a good place to stay with nice views. The breakfast options are very basic.

The owners are wonderful people. It helps that my partner is Vietnamese but other English speaking guests had no issues communicating. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The views are nice and it’s peaceful at night time.

Modernish homestay with large rooms and beds, beautiful view and very kind family who prepared amazing food for us. Highly recommended to anyone who requires little bit more comfort than traditional homestays in this area offers.

The place is located quite far from Sa Pa and other villages, and we expected it as it's clearly stated on the Booking page/looking at the map. We highly recommend renting a scooter from the owners to move around. Apart from their restaurant and another couple around, there isn't much in the area. But it's what you're looking for if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristic area!

Lovely family-run homestay near Su Pan, it felt like home. The owners were very kind to us and offered local wine when having dinner at their restaurant, helped us book a taxi and get information on how to book a bus to another location.

Pool/walking path too close to the rooms and windows : difficult to have privacy without constantly having curtains closed Also it would be nice to have breakfast included

Very friendly owners. Before we arrived, they sent us useful info such as how much the taxi should cost, etc. When we were leaving, they even booked a taxi for us - They had a brochure with trekking trips available. There was a local guide who showed us beautiful places and shared lots of interesting info with us - The food was tasty - Peaceful place. - Highly recommend

The swimming pool was not available. It's understandable that something was broken and we weren't able to use it, but it would be nice to notify us before arrival, as we were really excited about the pool and it was one of the main reasons we chose this place - The bathroom could be renovated (it was clean, however) - The amount of food for breakfast was small. We had to choose one thing or pay extra for another one

Nothing - We were far away from Sapa town however, that is the whole point of the trip!!

Property was beautiful and in the mountains! We were able to easily organise our trekking trip via the hotel and also arrange taxis at the lowest price too and from the town! The stay also had an onsite restaurant with delicious food!

The shared bathroom is a bit old. But I guess this is normal in mountain areas?

The view was wonderful. Good location for starting hikes. We also enjoyed the pool and the two sisters working there are very friendly and amazing cooks.

We loved this place. The owners are so accommodating and friendly and go out of their way to help. Really comfortable rooms and great food! It's quite far out of sapa but in a really beautiful location. The owners could provide scooter rental as well so it was no problem getting to Sapa. Road to Sapa a little bad in places but 90% of it is good.

It was so far to go to the Sapa City. Around 10KM and the road was not very friendly. Unfinished road. Bumpy everywhere and it hurt my shoulder cause I ride a bike.

The view was ultimately stunning.

The road from Sapa is poor, but you will get a tip for a good-priced taxi which was quick and worth it

Absolutely recommend, the family running Sau Meo are amazing people. Our rooms were right next to the swimming pool with a fantastic view of the valley. The food was amazing and we also got help in arranging guided walking tours of the area which we enjoyed a lot. My brother played a game of chess with the family's son which was fun, the family helped us with doing laundry and we got a shot of rice wine as a very friendly gesture. We felt very welcome, thank you.

It was quite and peacefull, great break from the busy city. The flowerfull garden and plants near the beautifull pool were maintained very well! Butterfly's flying arround while you're swimming just in front of your room with nothing blocking the amazing mountainview! The staff was a very friendly family who helped with everything. Like arranging your taxi and Hiking tours. The vegetables and greens came from there garden. ( Even the chicken was alive a few moments before it's on your plate. If you are in to this) Peacefull Clean Helpfull Great view And oh yeah, great food!!
