Didn't realize there would be a 1 hour journey on a tender to get to the Scarlet Pearl.

Fabulous cruise, spectacular scenery, delicious food. Staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble.

There's nothing to dislike on this vessel.

Food was tremendous, in both quality and presentation, staff were so very attentive and pleasant. Young Jennifer was a standout and Wendy very professional, all in all, a wonderful experience.

We were told we could not bring our own food on the boat or we would be fined. I understood that and didn’t mind. There were two Indian groups on the boat at the same time who were allowed to bring their own food and eat it in the dining room in front of everyone. They were rude and loud and nothing was done. It’s a shame there seems to be different rules for different nationalities. Sparking water and soft drinks were an additional charge too. The wine was very expensive. We were asked to provide feed back at the end of the trip on a form, which we did. We were then approached my 3 staff members on 3 separate occasions to be confronted about our ratings and feedback.

Beautiful rooms, amazing and attentive staff. The chef is to be commended. The food was amazing.

The bay is extremely dirty. Very sad. Perhaps all cruise companies should make a campaign of designating a portion of profits to cleaning programs. Is is almost disgusting to swim.... We did it with some hesitation

The door to the shower did not shut, and also there needs to be privacy when using the toilet as entering the area is open. Pulling the blind was a nuisance when entering and exiting.

Beautiful room with balcony for a beautiful scenery. The room was spacious and clean. The food and drinks were of generous amounts and so delicious. The staff were always friendly, helpful and attentive to your needs and wishes Wendy and Anthony were our tour guide and they were excellent; well spoken, very informative and enjoyable company. Overall, it was an exceptional vacation for us 🤩✨ We were glad to stay a minimum of 2 nights, 3 days for a better experience ✅

Everything under control, well organise all activities and always at the time agreed. From the transfer from Hanoi to all activities. Nice to move around with the catamaran and the activities very interesting. If with time I recommend 3 days 2 nights. Room perfect clean and comfy. Food correct and good. Staff allways taking care of all.

When travelling with kids, we would have appreciated a more kids friendly option for kids during dinner as they serve a dinner set menu which was awesome but not very kid friendly.however, if you specify before you arrive, I think they will provide you with options which we didn’t do!

This was one of the highlights of our trip in Vietnam! The boat, the staff, the activities, the view, the food, everything was awesome! We started our journey with Scarlet Pearl from Hanoi when they picked us up in their7 seater van they call limousine. Very comfortable with reclining seats. (The usb was not working in all seats unfortunately to charge the phone). When we arrived at the port, we were escorted to a private area for check-in and had time to check around the station and then we took a speed boat to get to the yacht. We were taken care by the boat Manager Chris who was great! We headed to lunch (great choice of options at the buffet respecting our dietary choices) and then we went to our rooms which were spacious, very clean and very comfortable! They offered several activities during the afternoon: cave exploration by kayaking or fisherman’s boat, then swimming, trampoline on the sea, kayaking around the boat in the bay. This was followed by a fun cooking class and happy hour. Dinner was a seafood 5 service menu which was delicious! Dinner was followed with a fishing session that the kids appreciated although we were unlucky to catch anything… then a movie in their lounge room. The next day we had an early start with Tai Chi session, light breakfast and a catamaran outing to discover some of the islands then back for a nice brunch and then check-out. all of this is included in their price which was a great surprise. We stayed one night only but heard from groups staying two night that there are several other activities planned including discovering some secluded beaches. The entire staff was great, accommodating and very helpful!

The Trips on the ship was not special, only shipping around the sea. Not visit from special caves The sea is very dirty and to much tourists ship I can’t recommend this trip

Only 2 minor observations: The sockets of the electricplugs in the room were loose and anything would fall out with minimal movement, at times.i was afraid to touch the cable as it would stop charging. Nothing we could not survive and fix. The WiFi was weak. This is understandable as you are in the sea. However this is weird when my phone with a viettel card had better signal... I recommend the company tries to boost it as it is not matching the level of quality of the rest

Great staff and ship. Chris and Anthony made a great guide from the pick up until the end. I need also to commend the whole crew for their dedication and professionalism! Great job! . The experience was great and the quality of the ship and food was more than satisfactory. The activities are quite packed but in line with other guided tours in Vietnam as they are trying to maximise the nr if things you can do. You always have the option to remain on ship and relax ;). Totally recommended.

The first lunch served upon boarding was quite a letdown, the Jacuzzi never got hot, and the drinks at the bar tasted just a bit off. These are all just nitpicks and I would 100% recommend Scarlet Pearl for your cruising needs.

Wendy, the cruise director, was a joy to talk to and her team made a skeptical cruiser a believer. The ship itself is beautiful and stands as a clear cut above the rest of the Ha Long Bay vessels. The food was very hit or miss but my party and I found the beef dinner option to be one of the best meals we had during our stay in Vietnam. The room was an unexpected highlight of this experience with probably the most luxurious feeling shower I've ever gotten the privilege to experience.

There was nothing about this ship to dislike.

This cruise was amazing. The ship is beautiful and looks incredible. The staff were so helpful, Stefan in reservations was continuously answering my email question. The staff on the boat were amazing. One member of staff even let me use his own WIFI password as i could log on to the ships for some reason (my partner could). The food was exceptional. The day trip on the catamaran totally blew us away. This is a ship I would recommend to everyone.
