Not sure why it didn't have hot water at the time. The water is warm enough but no hot water.

Great place. Quite one street off the main road. And a little away from the busy main city so quiet and relaxing. Good breakfast. The bar has good drinks (great price also). It's a place to stay if you have a motorbike. You can get in town for food and activities and get back to it relaxing by the pool.

Helpful front desk and staff, beautifully designed, very clean. Breakfast buffet spread was fresh and delicious. The paddy field were harvested two weeks before we arrived, so the scenery weren’t pretty but we made good use of the bicycle provided and ride to another paddy field nearby which was perfect.

Lost power a couple of nights due to high energy usage. Minor inconvenience as power was restored within 5-10 minutes

We stayed in the newly renovated part of the property. Absolutely loved it - the location and ambiance. We had 9 people to our party and booked all our major transportation with them. All drivers did an excellent job

The beds were a bit hard for us but we’re learning this seems to be standard for SE Asia.

While the hotel is lovely and peaceful being slightly out of the town, the staff are what really make this place shine. Minh (the manager) assisted us with check in and made us feel welcome with his fabulous sense of humour. The reception staff always chatted with us about what we had been up to and the waiting staff at breakfast (Min) and Peter (Sau) at the restaurant were fantastic. We will be telling our friends and family who visit Vietnam to stay at this hotel.

The food in the restaurant is the only thing letting this place down, we waited over an hour for a chicken sandwich and the quality of food in general wasn’t great.

We absolutely loved staying here and we were very sad to leave! It is the perfect getaway hotel, you are located only 10 minutes from Hoi An old quarter and it’s very cheap to get a grab! The staff are so professional and welcoming and we could not fault them. The rooms are beautifully modern and cleaned daily! Amazing value for money!

This hotel was incredible! Great value for money, the staff were all very lovely and helpful, with great tips on things to go and places to eat. Beautiful views of rice fields by the pool and restaurant. Best hotel I stayed in whilst in Vietnam for 3 weeks. Would definitely recommend! The restaurant also has delicious food and drinks. Free bike use and only a short grab ride to old town.

Absolutely nothing.

Serene was the perfect place for us to tour Hoi An and chill. As soon as we arrived for three nights stay, we booked for an extra three nights. We loved the comfortable room, the pool, the food (great breakfast buffet) and the staff (shout out to Rosie who took great care of us). The location is a little out of town towards the beach. We rented a motorbike at the hotel and it was super easy.

maybe there should be some shadows in front of the hotel where the bikes are parked. and we couldn't use the safe in the room even following the guideline, we didn't report it but that's probably something to look into for other guests.

we came here to relax and were totally satisfied. the hotel is right next to the rice fields so it is perfect to take rest. we had a decent room by the pool and opposite the restaurant which was convenient for us to enjoy the hotel's services. the staff were all nice and kind, i can give some names like Lily who helped us check in and out, Peter at the restaurant. we enjoyed lunch, breakfast and some drinks and they were all good. i also had a massage and the spa service and staff were also great. our room has a small terrace in front of it where i sat and read my book in the morning in the breezes. all in all, thank you so much for giving us a wonderful stay.

Everything was brilliant! The staff were so incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough to make sure we had a great stay. Upon arrival, we were given an extensive list of recommended food, coffee, attractions, tailors, etc. and all of them were great recommendations. The facilities are brilliant - great pool area, nice bar/cafe on site with a good happy hour, rooms are clean and modern. Breakfast was varied and tasty. The access to free bikes to cycle around Hoi A was also a bonus - would love to return again in the future.

1. The area around the pool needs improving. The pool chairs are extremely heavy and have no wheels. They also all face the pool and are impossible to turn around due to their weight. People want to look over the beautiful, green, rice terraces, so it would be useful to buy more, with wheels and face them that way. Along the side, they can stay facing the pool. Could easily fit another 8 facing that way. 2. The breakfast area is quite cramped alongside the window in the restaurant side. It should be moved to the restaurant side which faces the rice paddies.

The hotel, rooms, pool are fantastic and exceptional value. The location away from the full Hussle of the main city with the rice field surrounds was extremely relaxing. Laying on the sun chairs beside the pool watching our child interact with many other families was great. What made our stay even more exceptional was the service from, Lilly, Rosie, Catherine and Sally. The kindness they showed to us and our daughter ensured that we extended our stay by an additional 4 days. The wonderful staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable and exceptional as possible. We cannot thank them enough. The bikes need to be in a better maintained as they could be dangerous - the breaks don't work.

Receptionists are very polite and kind. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The pool area is beautiful - overlooking the rice fields. Very peaceful place which we enjoyed very much. Free bikes upon request.
