Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaTo place a room service order I had to call room service, they did not understand english and I had to spell out letter by letter what I wanted. Only recieved 2 small bottles of water per couple per day they should implement having large water dispensers in all rooms. Food wasn't great and was expensive. You can look at room service menus by scanning the QR codes in the room but you cannot order online. Expensive gelato. I did not see any free water fountains anywhere to top up water bottles. Unsustainable re plastic use. Long walk down to the beach which requires shoes to swim as sand is so hot.
The beds were very comfortable! Great pool area. Staff around the pool were attentative.

SingaporeHead shower is not enough water pressure and the air-conditioner temperature is set to the lowest 22c although the weather in Danang is nearly to 40c.
The staffs are absolutely very professional and caring. Really one of the best assets to Sheraton. Especially Thanh from La Plage. He is a person who are detailed and his service is definitely one of the top in the hotel.

SingaporeNothing to be improved in this amazing resort with excellent staff!!
Wonderful resort and amazing staff! Very highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and excellent experience in Danang. We stayed at Sheraton for 5 nights and has been simply excellent!!! We booked a pool view room (already spacious and super clean) that was upgraded with a suite with great pool and sea view. All the staff and especially Mr.Truong made extra effort to make us feel special guests and have an unforgettable vacation. We really enjoyed the variety of food there and the Seafood Buffet on Saturdays night it was just amazing. Must try it! You will enjoy the tranquility and professionalism from the time you check-in in till the check-out! We will definitely visit this premise again and will recommend our friends this wonderful resort.

Everything is perfect, especially the swimming pool is amazing. Staff are so kind and generous. Perfect five star hotel.

SingaporeNo shade around pool. Strong cleaning product smell throughout hotel. Soulless breakfast area, no views of beach or pool or hotel grounds. Several breakfast foods not fresh. Very bright orange lights on all switches in room, disturbing at night. Power cut at midnight, all lights came on brightly when this was fixed. Bedding way too hot/thick for a hot climate. Location far out from anywhere.
Great kids club. Lovely staff.

United KingdomThe development next door.
The location is good as it is between Hoi An and DaNang or you can stay at the hotel itself. The property is good, fantastic pool, the development next to it needs finishing off or hiding as it can be seen throughout the outside of the property.

Australiathe food is extremely overpriced at all three restaurants. The pool bars cheapest food item is $20 for simply Vietnamese spring rolls. The pizza is below average too. we did enjoy a nice meal at la plague, however, a price tag well over $200 for a simply meal of steak & pizza. The seafood buffet is a good price however it is very limited. only half a lobster and crab per person and none of the BBQ is cooked fresh it is all sitting in a bowl all night. Apart from the awesome pool facility, there is nothing to do at the hotel and to add to this it is a complete ghost town. maybe everything is so expensive to allow the place to keep running with no guests. There is a creepy guy standing outside the souvenir shop every single day whom doesn’t wish to reach out simply stand and stare rudely.
The rooms are spacious & pool facilities are great

New ZealandApart from the breakfast buffet, all other food options were limited and very expensive. Room service menu and a la carte menus lacked some of the basics and the price was unreasonable for what you get.

IndonesiaThe beach could have been cleaner. I found pieces of glass near the beach area where the kids were playing. The location was also too far away from the centre, a bit too far to find food or convenience stores. I booked for 2x Queen Beds type rooms, but it was actually extra-single bed sizes only.
All the staff are very friendly. The hotel rooms & facilities are very clean.

IndiaFood variety was limited. The area was exclusive so to get anything one had to take a cab and go a bit of distance. There was no English newspapers or books available.
The pool was fantastic. Rooms were nice and large with good view. Being on the beach was a great feeling. If you had GRAB app then commuting became easy through the cabs.

South Korea1. Breakfast was simply terrible. After 2 days, we decided to go out and have something else instead. Besides, it was not difficult to find new dishes with spices on them. 2. Housekeeping was not maintained very cleanly, with same dirt and garbage on the floor left the same after we returned. 3. There were 3 private events 2 days in a row at the private beach (which was part of the resort and one of the main reasons why we decided to stay here). Very loud during the events and crazy rehearsals, making it impossible for hotel guests to relax at the beach or by the pool. The crowd and the music was so loud until 11 pm. 4. The rooms had the worst sound-proof walls and doors. You could listen to every guest walking by and people from above you walking and moving their chairs.
