Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

I had written a long review and realised i had forgotten to compliment the staff of the studios and patisserie . The staff were excellent and made every effort to make me comfortable. They make really good coffee and very creative with what I ordered.

AustraliaNothing I didn't like.
I stayed 6 nights, in two different rooms. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. The mattress in particular was to my liking. Like the other positive reviewers here, I really liked the hotel's coziness, cleanliness and superb location. The lane that the hotel is situated on is an oasis right smack in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Saigon. The craft beer pub next door, quenched my thirst ( say hello to Kevin and Hoang please) . Had meals opposite the hotel ( which is really popular) of "home-cooked" style Vietnamese cuisine and had a massage just 3 steps away after a tired day of walking. Get off the quiet and peaceful laneway and you will join the frantic-ness of Saigon, like passing through a wormhole. I like live music and often hunt for it on my travels. Coi Saigon, with top live jazz, is just 15 minutes walk away. A bookstore, Phoung Nam, with a good selection of English books is 20 mins walk away. The popular tourist sites are mostly within 15-30 mins walk away. The breakfast, coffee and tea at the hotel were excellent. Song Anh Patisserie's breads are really really good, made in house from scratch. The owners are really friendly and laidback with loads of stories to share. I enjoyed the afternoon chats we had.

United KingdomSome works were going on next door [banging], but it must be new as when I booked I asked the hosts and they said works were completed. Thankfully, we stayed during the holidays, so there was only one day of banging.
Nice spacious bedroom on a quiet street. The bed is extremely comfortable and large! Large towels and good-quality toiletries are provided. The ground floor cafeteria offers great pastries and good coffee, although it is more expensive than other cafes around, the pain au chocolate are definitively worth it! Great new spa across the road with good prices, too. Loved HCMC and this is a great central base for exploring!

Location is good - near enough from the Main Street but far enough from the noise. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Totally loved the room we booked on the top floor. It was big and spacious and even comes with a front load washing machine (with laundry detergent). There was an outdoor alfresco area just outside our room which we literally had it to ourselves. Highly recommended!

United KingdomNothing, the best accommodation we had in Vietnam!
Beautifully furnished room, super comfy bed, central location but on a quiet, residential street. We’d recommend pastries from downstairs, a beer from the taproom next door and dinner from the restaurant opposite!

United KingdomTo go to your room after 7:00 pm you will have to open the shop gate. Also the rooms are quite expensive compared with the market price
I loved the room at level 4 and also the position. The staff was really kind and they also have a coffee shop on ground floor with really great croissants!

Located in a quiet alley away from the bustle that is HCMC. We stayed in 2 of the rooms during our 6 night stay. Room on the 2nd floor may have had the edge as far as storage , but room on the 3rd floor had a washing machine, which was very useful for us. The downstairs bakery sold delicious pastries and excellent coffee. Would stay here again if we ever return to Ho Chi Minh

In a word our Studio was Superb. Nice and spacious, air conditioning, lovely bamboo furniture, comfy bed, fridge and en suite. The studio is above a fantastic bakery in which we had breakfast each morning. The staff are incredibly helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We arrived very early and departed late but they were more than happy for us to leave our cases in their safe hands until we could be checked in/ left for the airport. Nice quiet area with good restaurant opposite and craft beer bar a few meters away. We would absolutely recommend you stay here when in HCMC.

BelgiumGreat location in Saigon. Very nicely decorated room and perfect bathroom and facilities overall, as well as great respite from a hot day in the city or the surrounding area. There's a nice restaurant just in front which I could still go to despite our very late check-in, and which stays open throughout most of the day. Breakfast is not included in the price, but the bakery downstairs is really good if you crave some croissants after a few weeks of travelling around South East Asia (it's not cheap, but hey, it's a good Western-style bakery in SE Asia :) ...)

The location is also ideal and there was no noise at night. The staff were super friendly and helpful and allowed us to leave luggage. The bakery is also really nice, with great coffee.
