Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RussiaThe breakfast was good, but not so diverse and European cousine represented not enough.
Very polite and competent staff, especially at the reception. The most convenient room I have had in Vietnam. In the room available air washer, and the smart toilet surprised me in positive way also. Very authentic (Japanese) pajamas and room interior. In the room is very quiet. The hotel has a perfect location in very middle of Japanese block. Nearby all famous sites and malls in the center of the Ho Chi Minh city. This hotel was the best among others ~10 I have stayed in Vietnam.

Great location in district 1, walking distance from many interesting tourist attractions. Hotel is new, done in a perfect japanese quality. Perfectly clean and tidy. Our room was on the 18 floor just one floor under the small gym and the swiming pool. We went to the pool both evenings of our stay to take a swim with a view of the city. I loved that the toilet in the room was separate from the bathroom. This hotel is a great place for business trip or a situation when you need a good night sleep and dont plan to stay much in the hotel.

The hotel is new in a very nice location, it has an amazing sunrise view, Saigon lights and Saigon river from our room and from the rooftop. There is a good, clean swimming pool and a very nice cool gym on the 19th floor. Our room was so comfortable, quiet, clean with good quality toiletries products. The staff were very attentive, helpful and very polite. We loved our stay very much.

AustraliaThe rooms are on the small side, so there's not much space for luggage to be stored/unpacked/opened.
We stayed in the SGF for two nights, and it was a great was to begin our first trip to HCMC. Everything seemed new, and well-designed. The bed was very comfortable, and having a small air purifier in the room in addition to the Air Conditioning was a nice touch. The staff spoke good English, and were very helpful with all of our requests. The toiletry buffet in the lobby was excellent. The rooftop pool was small, but had a wonderful view of the city, especially at night. Safety and security is clearly a priority here; the elevator is level-locked to your particular floor with access by keycard, and our visitors were asked to present ID. We had an entire day in HCMC after checking out, and the luggage storage room with compartmented, combination lock entry was fantastic, though it was nearly full on that day so a couple of our larger pieces had to be stored by staff in a room behind the front desk- we collected them safe and sound at the end of the day.

PhilippinesThere was nothing I didn't like.
I loved the Japanese toilet. There were many restaurants to choose from surrounding the hotel and a choice of convenience stores to buy supplies from. They provide baggage lockers for free for those who have a later departure time beyond the standard checkout time. The swimming pool in the 19th floor was perfect for cooling off after a hot day and provided a wonderful view of Saigon. There was a wonderful bakeshop in front of the hotel which had delicious bread and food to satisfy a hungry traveller.

PortugalThe only thing we didn't like was that the pool closed at 9pm, so no night views of the city ;)
Really nice staff, very welcoming and warm. Around the location alot of japanese-style stores around (convini, beef-bowl, pasteries) looks like a japanese corner. Walkable to city center and still outside of most noisy areas. Building is high enough - 19 floors, (we stayed at 16 floor) so its really nice because there's no noise. The pool has a nice view and good vibe. Cleaninigness is really up to best i've seen!

SingaporeThe "Japanese corner" nearby.
Has UK wall sockets and Bidet. Air-con can manually adjust or off/on. Location maybe a bit off but still walking distance to attraction (e.g. Saigon Post Office). Opposite has a few Japanese restaurants and a bakery. Family Mart and 7-11 are further down. You can also find more restaurants at the nearby Intercontinental Hotel. The Shopping mall closest is Vincom centre (600m). Small breakfast selection but alternate choice daily. Level 19 is small swimming pool and a small gym (no weights). Sound proof of the room is still okay. Staff are friendly and able to speak English.
