The breakfast was very nice and tasty with many different options. The staff was very helpful, we got a really great recommendation of a local hot pot place. The room was clean.

The Hotel Manager and her staff provided excellent service to us during our staff - friendly, helpful and responsive. The Hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance to the key attractions and heritage sites. Breakfast is good with a variety of local, Asian and Western choices. Jenny arrange all our trips in the North of Vietnam. She took herself a lot of time talking us through all the details which included a fully organized trip to Halong Bay, Mai chau , ninh binh and a railway journey to Lao Cai, accommodation in Sa Pa, private taxi back Hanoi and ongoing flights further South. Everything worked out fine and if there were any issues on the way Jenny was always available to help and to support us. This was very re-assuring and we are very grateful for this kind of support . We Highly recommend Veris Hotel to anyone who travels to Hanoi city for leisure or business.

Everyone was so kind and hospitable. We were even picked up personally at the airport ( in the evening)! Very reasonably priced and easy access location. A definite recommended place to stay! Enjoy.

The temperatures during our stay in February were quite cold. The room we had did not have an air-con with heating function. When we asked, a heater was provided. That helped bit it was still pretty cold.

We really enjoyed our stay and the location of the hotel is nice. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. You can choose between different options including eggs and pancakes as well as soup and they serve noodles or rice and fresh fruits. We also want to mention Jenny from the reception who was amazing. She booked a trip to Ha Long Bay for us and helped with every question we had.

Clean modern hotel, spacious room and enclosed shower unit. Hotel is situated right in the heat of old town 10 mins walk from the lake direct centre really well located. Breakfast is fabulous, lots of choice and eggs, pancakes etc all made fresh to order. Jenny is really friendly, accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay here again if we revisit in Hanoi

Nice hotel in a great location, the front desk staff was very friendly and attentive. I stayed for four nights and the location was in the heart of the old quarter, room was large and comfortable and the AC worked well. I didn't try the breakfast because my schedule was full, but it was offered. I went out early in the morning to late at night as a solo female and didn't have any safety concerns in the area.

Some of room to improve. It is located on a narrow street, thus no car can go through.

It is located in a central location. Easy walking distance to Hoàn Kiem Lake. Staff (Jenny) is super friendly and helpful . Breakfast is excellent with various types of food. It is quite although the street is busy.

Room was pretty small and it's situated in alley. So, you need to go to the main road to book a cab and everything

The room we booked through booking was a bit small and almost no light in it. Just one small window facing the next building. Mind you this was the cheapest option for a room. For the other nights we booked a little bit more expensive one and it was much nicer. As the hotel is on a small street, cars can not go on it, so taxis and buses were coming on a nearby street, where you have to walk maybe 100-200 meters. It didn't bother us even with a luggage.

The staff was very helpful. We booked through booking for 2 nights and after that directly for another 2 nights when we were finishing our trip. The location was very good, in the heart of the old quarter but on small side street. We could walk everywhere. Breakfast was nice and long. We could store our luggage there for extended period of time. The staff also booked for us taxi to Hanoi airport and exchanged money. The rooms we've got for the second 2 nights were big and light. Bathrooms decent and clean.

The hotel was overbooked on the first night of our stay so they gave us a room at a partner hotel a few doors away — which slightly upset us as we chose to stay specifically at Veris based on what we saw on the listing on Booking.com. Didn’t like that room and the bathroom (which were very different from Veris’) so we were happy when we were finally given a room at Veris Hotel on our second night.

Lots of good pho restaurants and superb coffee shops around the general area. There are also various shops, grocery stores and pharmacies nearby. The beautiful Hoàn Kiếm Lake and the magnificent St. Joseph’s Cathedral are also within walking distance from the hotel. Jenny at the front desk was friendly, helpful and accommodating, always ready with directions and recommendations. She assists in arranging tours and helps out in the kitchen too! Daily breakfast was delicious, the menu changed every day but there was always local fruits and various Vietnamese dishes that you can have cooked to order. Our room was clean, spacious and recently revovated, while the bed was super comfy. We had such a relaxing stay here so the next time we go to Hanoi, we’d definitely stay at Veris again!

Good location hotel in the old quarter we were lucky enough to have a room with a balcony which was great. Staff were friendly. Helpful and efficient particularly Jenny who was always humourous and organised a trip to Sapa for us which went very well.

The beeping from the traffic is pretty much 24 hours a day in Hanoi and can be heard in the rooms - recommend ear plugs! I actually think it’d be louder at other hotels as Veris is down a little alley which possibly even shields the noise Room a little run down in places - just needs some light maintenance
